Emm from where I should start. Alright this might seem my first post but definitely its not, its like my comeback to India Forums after 3 years all thanks to this wonderful show. I couldn't resist myself to not write my reviews about this show. Anyhow enough of my small mumbling. Let's begins with today's postpartum of the show.

Sakshi Goenka: Lady o lady, just tell me you are made up of what stuff. She is like real hotshot. Today in one line she showed Shaurya his place. "Kyuki tumne ek ladki ka rape kiya hai". This lady knows how to make her presence felt to audience and she is to elegant for her own good. I agree she is grey shade but somewhere she is aware that whatever Shaurya did was not at all right. But as that day she told that painter that she can go to any extend just to make sure that his son is safe.

Rajnath Goenka: Well since starting of the show I was doubting CV's for not writing his sketch well compared to Sakshi but dude I was so wrong his character episode after episode is picking up the pace. It is well written character and talking about the show well the kind of advice he was giving that only someone experienced can give and well my note to CV's that this character can't be complete black as we have seen him missing his brother in front of his bhabhi. So better they show some convincing back story and don't ruining up this character

Durga: I will never ever call her Nitya as Nitya was symbol of obscured game and I want this character to gain reminisce as someone who is symbol of women empowerment and the girl who is made out of ashes and knows when to use which emotion. AHHH actually not. CV's I am disappointed over here. She is too emotional to get victory over this wild fight. Kindly don't show her crying over those pics and all. Please that's very cliche.

Shaurya: Dude this character needs some more work well right he has got some bad deeds already in his blood but what he lacks is that convincing power. To frame into right words well every playboy knows when to act like pet and when not. Mr spoiled brat after your dad tip same tip from me the more you run behind girls the more they get irked by guys so stop running saying Durga Durga. That's quite irritating to me also as audience. Showing those proofs was again sounding like you are Durga's pet.

Point to CVs
  • Well I am impressed with cleanly written characters
  • And pace of the show is commendable
  • And I have to add this point being girl that Simone Singh has got stupendous wardrobe, makeup and hairstyles

Waiting for the sunshine in this show as with the news of new entry as too much darkness in the form of grey and black characters is making us as audience to feel overloaded.

And please for Shaurya add something more he is not convincing me right now. This character has huge scope.

P.S- These are my views which may differ from others. And share your opinion too.

XOXO

edit!

first of all.. superb post! 👏
u very well explained each character..⭐️ i totally agree with u! one thing i earlier thought wen i saw Rajnath missing his bro in front of his bhabhi, i though he was faking! actually my thought was that its Raj who can b the reason for his bro's death.
about Shaurya, indeed i agree with u, he seems too desperate to bed durga, i mean he is desperate, but his actions r not convincing. if he is supposed to be good in wat he says, then yeah he should act lil diff! or may b Durga is too enchanting for him to even think properly n act!
and yes the shows is full of grey and black people.. it will be good to see a sunshine.. else one myt end up losing hope of goodness in this world! LOL thats too exaggerated!

Great Post.

Awesome actress and playing Shakshi beautifully. Her character and her pride and arrogance are portrayed well.

There is not much she will not do for her son. Shaurya is the way he is because of his
mother and her false pride in a spoilt rotten son that is getting away with Rape and Murder because of his mother.

Rajnath as a father who aids and abets his son in all his wrong doings is another reason for Shaurya who thinks he can do any thing to anybody and he can and does get away with it. The actor is getting under Rajnath skin and is emoting a self absorbed
and ruthless tycoon wonderfully.

You are right about Durga, she needs to stop her boo-hooing and her self pitying while she is dealing with both Shakshi and Shaurya and Rajnath.
She needs to show that no matter what she has gone through she is hell bent on staying on her course and show some steel like nerves and determination to get these Goenka's.

Shaurya too is doing a commendable job but his desperation to get Durga to win his bet fast and prove a point to himself and his friends does seem to be forced.
There is no redeemable qualities to his character and having no patience in trying to
get Durga seems to over look the warnings from his mother just might be his first mistake and an advantage that I hope Durga utilizes to bring him down.

And I do agree with you the writing and the pace are great and the Cat and Mouse games between Shakshi and Durga are fun to watch.

The CV's have done well in keeping us entertained and coming back for more.

Very nice and articulate definition of the characters. Would just shed my opinion on Durga's sudden emotional bursts looking at Payal or old pictures. This is very natural for most of the people who have been traumatized, disrespected and bullied. One could stand stronger in front of the bullies ( Goenkas' here) but alone one would feel scared, angry and weak thinking about all the incidents. Durga luckily has Dayal as her support and brings her out ofthese weak emotional spells. Been through tough circumstances ( work bullies) and can connect with Durga's emotions very well.It is not easy to fight with tycoons for your rights, no matter how much strong you show them to be. The psychopaths like Mrs. Goenka and Shaurya would make you feel wrong again and again and break your will power by pointing fingers at you, a bully would exactly do what Shuarya did when he lied and showed Payal as a down character.

I do not think audience is overloaded yet.

I know a new entry for Durga is in the offing in near future.

But before that, I am more interested in knowing what happened in past, how Nitya became Durga, how Dayal took her under his wings, how she planned it all, how she remained away and how Payal was made mentally unstable by Goenkas.

I would like to see the sisters' past in more detail beyond sporadic flashbacks and pics in Durga's family albums.

It's a different show with suspense, power games, justice, drama etc. and I hope it sticks to its basic theme and does not get sidetracked in romance.

I want Durga to get happiness and Payal to recover and get justice. I hope the new guy becomes part of this mission too.

I wouldn't really vote for full on shift to romance for this show.

For now, I am interested to know the lead more first before anything else.

Agreed Simone is gorgeous, has a great wardrobe and is really classy. In fact she is more regal than all those playing queens in other shows.

Indeed

Well to be very frank I feel its not cuz of his mother, its both Rajnath and Sakshi, Well to be very frank its result of their cunning nature. They are so busy in molding others according to them that they forgot to mold their own shit(son). Sorry for severe words but that's what they both have created.

What I really want Durga is to hurt their false pride severely as it will be best but not least penance for them

She needs to show that no matter what she has gone through she is hell bent on staying on her course and show some steel like nerves and determination to get these Goenka's.

Bang on.

Shaurya too is doing a commendable job but his desperation to get Durga to win his bet fast and prove a point to himself and his friends does seem to be forced.

Well you have just wrote what I meant to say majestically.

I just hope they stick on to this work.

First of all I am elated that you are echoing exactly my beliefs and my answers in red above. Thanks for replying.

Well yeah you are right on that part what is eating me up is that her emotions is making her to go on her own knees. Yesterday because of those emotions she was not able to face that debaucher. I don't want her for that.

Well might be you are right but I am overloaded with too many greys and blacks character all around. I need few more angels to clean this clan. I need some balance in the show.

But before that, I am more interested in knowing what happened in past, how Nitya became Durga, how Dayal took her under his wings, how she planned it all, how she remained away and how Payal was made mentally unstable by Goenkas.

Yeah I am liking the way they have been disclosing the former story in Rang De Basanti style. It is adding edge to this opera.

True this is the problem with Indian daily opera that they get lost with romantic tracks and forget the main theme of the show and Main theme of the show is the OBSCENE crime through which India is already suffering. I want this show to give valor to girls to stand for themselves and fight for it.
