I stumbled upon a trailer with Namik in it.

I don't mean to be negative, but it's so bad, I can't even! My God! What was he thinking? Like forget the OTT acting of the female lead, forget all the unreal supernatural, just the whole set up and how its packaged is so frigging terrible!

And as for comparison between kasauti role and this.. I will say this again it's like ek taraf kuan.. and khai... both are ekta's shows doesn't matter much.

Guys, let's not be that negative, it's only two days show, only for weekends and hopefully at least for first 20-30 episodes will be bearable. And who knows, maybe after that period Namik will find something more interesting and get a better opportunity so we all can move on to a better show...

And after hearing the man, I think more than us, he is disheartened that there is no content driven show being made right now. He has waited for almost one year for something good to come to his way, that's a long time for a newcomer to wait, he is still new, and asking for him to wait for or do only do content driven shows? That's a lot to ask from him...

He has to choose between what comes his way and Indian Tv is going through it's darkest times as there is only supernatural things are being made. He has given in, it's already so difficult for him, let's not increase his distress...

We should just be supportive because we know how much he is already sacrificing his determination to only to do content driven shows, we already know how much he wanted to only give us good content, and how much he deserves better, but what to do, nothing is in our or his hands...So let's be supportive and wish, hope and pray for the best...

@Hajnal - Great post! If Namik had rejected this show, He would be one of the dumbest guys in the world rn. Which I am very glad he is not. It doesn't matter we the selective discerning audience see him or not. What matters is where he goes in his career. And he is going in the right direction. And it's very easy to talk sitting on internet. I wanna ask how many of us do challenging high quality jobs at a day to day basis. I am a data admin and engineer but 300 days of the year i am doing data cleanup on servers. That data cleanup doesnt define me but that's what gets me my bread and butter. Most of the times you have to do what is required by the market and client. Not what you want to do. And many a times that is what takes you to big places. And rest of it, everyone will see next thursday. Touchwood the guy whose show got shut because it didnt have enough trp to even complete it's story, he is probably gonna give one of the trp toppers.
