Shravan just faked a smile, he knew sumo for an eternity, her mood swings never bothered him anyway, but she was behaving too weird for his liking not very Sumo like ,just this morning they had a ridiculous argument
Sumo : Shravan mujhe samajh nahi aata ki tum roz itna taiyaar kyun hote ho
Shravan: kya Matlab?
Sumo; kise patana hai tumhe , tum Yeh pehno ( she said pointing out to a very plain shirt )
Shravan: sumo main already late hun aur tum aise demands mat karo please
Sumo started crying, Shravan dint know what to say ...
Sumo : tumhe meri request ki koi value nahi hai , she said and walked away
Shravan thought that his disagreement would lead to their fun banter like normal days but she pulled the tear move on him ...he thought that maybe it's just her being sick ...she had a runny nose since a week and would sleep in bed even when awake as compared to other times when she would be up and about doing all possible chores
He was sitting in his office and admiring her pictures when his phone rang, it was her
Sumo : Shravan we need to talk
This line freaks out the best of people and Shravan was no different
Shravan: bolo na
Sumo : nahi abhi nahi , shaam ko
Shravan: shaam ko kaunsa mahurat hai Jo abhi nahi bol sakti ? Tum theek ho na ya naraaz ho
Sumo : Shravan this is related to me being upset and I want to prepare myself to tell you, so Evening then , bye
Before he could say a word, she disconnected... Shravan began retrospective but couldn't point out anything which would have caused her to be upset , rather he remembered just a few nights ago she had been so happy...
Sumo : Shravan you are the best husband
Shravan: just because I bought you your chocolate ice cream at 1am ha?
Sumo : no not because of that
Shravan: oh so you finally realized how smart and handsome your husband is
Sumo : No ,rather because you brought two tubs of ice cream ,so I don't have to share with you
Shravan: you cant possibly eat a whole tub of ice cream?
She pointed out towards the ice cream tub which had only a few spoons left
Shravan: gosh Mrs Malhotra you are really binge eating
Sumo: shhh shut up okay
Shravan: by the way meri fees ?
Sumo : what fees ?
Shravan: iss time pe ice cream le aaya tumhare liye
She planted a kiss on his cheek ,he smirked saying
You think this will suffice?
" Don't expect anything beyond this okay!" And she laughed ...
Thinking of her had helped pass time , it was 6 pm he rushed home and entered his room , she was wearing a beautiful blue and pink kurta!
Sumo : come sit ,I have something to give you
Shravan : sumo is everything okay
Sumo : not a word Shravan Malhotra
She handed him a box and asked him to open it
He found a cute little scroll of paper
Reading it , he just hugged her
Shravan: I love you!
"Dear daddy,
I am baby Malhotra, contacting you from mummy's tummy, I will be meeting you in about seven months from now ... Mommy just got to know this morning and she is so happy...she wants a healthy baby , boy or girl doesn't matter so she's cheering for me with the blue and pink ...
Till I meet you please take care of mummy and especially her mood and also cravings, coz mummy is the best ...
