When you are drunk you can't just smile forgetting whats happening around you...that takes a lot of guts and presence of mind to hide whats going on inside you...your true inner self comes out...thats what i know and i have seen...

Shravan was good. But the problem was he did not look drunk!!
He looked sweaty. I think dialogues are to be blamed. Cvs should have given him some more stuff... Namik could have tried a bit more to get that stagger and alcoholic slurr...

but you slur only when you are too drunk to have control over yourself - which clearly was not the case here.

I agree with Shravan's acting not upto the mark today. Yesterday he was brilliant at PCT. It seemed that he was trying really hard to get his expressions convey his state, but he was unable to do it. Maybe he couldn't get the part alcoholic state done properly. His all other scenes are always good. Nanu, actually he acted well, but his demands on poor Sumo irked me!

I think he was very convincing. I could feel the pain and hurt in his voice.

I don't think he was supposed to be outright drunk more like tipsy. But whatever it was I liked his acting there like I mentioned before in other threads.

Namik's acting has been the only good thing about this show over the past 2 episodes. He plays the dejected-at-the-cellular-level kind of Shravan BANG ON and doesn't merely display maudlin.. In fact I felt the actor playing Ramnath needs to tone down his staring whenever he looks at Shravan. He seriously gives me pedophile vibes.

Namik was very convincing with his dialogues and portraying to be drunk. The one who irritated my nerves tonight was Nirmala, talk about selfish!

Namik's style of acting isn't overly dramatic , nor is shravan's character . I think most of us are used to seeing a totally sloshed hero with slurred speech . In fact this is what I find refreshing in Namik or shravan ( no over the top expressions), very natural.
