I really don't understand Suman's character.
I find it very hard as a viewer to relate with her and to feel bad for her.

Even during yesterday's confrontation scene, I was surprised that Sumo was shocked by Shravan's behaviour. I mean, I don't get why she would expect Shravan to propose to her after all the attitude she's given him.
And then, instead of understanding Shravan's pain, she decides that Shravan is a baggage that needs to be dropped.
Like seriously!?!

What makes all of this worse is that, unlike Shravan, she will most likely not regret her decisions or feel any sort of remorse due to her almighty "self respect".

I personally take self respect very seriously in my own life, and I think Sumo is less concerned about self respect and more concerned about her ego.

There are two major skills which Sumo lacks: empathy and accountability.

Empathy: Sometimes, Sumo is so caught up in her own problems and concerns (and her own family), that she completely disregards Shravan. She expects so much from him, and in return, gives him very little. In a successful relationship, Sumo needs to learn how to also see things from her partner's point of view too. She needs to learn how to balance the "give" and "take".

Accountability: Sumo really lacks the ability of noticing her own mistakes and owning up to them. She can't always expect Shravan to say all the sorry's. Sometimes, you have to let go of that ego, and truly see what you could have done better in a given situation. This is not only key in relationships, but also in managing a business. The most successful entrepreneurs are the ones who are able to keep improving.

Anyways, sorry for the long rant. I am not a huge fan of Sumo's character, and after yesterday's episode, I was pretty disappointed by her.

Yaar ek baat bataa,
Suman ko 100% na sahi, at least 80% bhi samajhna kisi ke bas ki baat hai bhala??
Arre aaj tak to shayad uske naanu bhi usse poori tarah se samajh nahi paaye.
Hum aur Shravan kya khaakh samjhenge!!

I agree with you 100% ! Sumo has not been shown to be truly sorry for the pain she has caused to shravan , in the past or even as an adult.she moves on totally unaware of the destruction she has left behind her and expects shravan to behave as it suits her. Her character needs to be redeemed big time for anyone to root for her to be together with shravan. She has taken advantage of him and still continues to do. She hasn't changed much from the obnoxious teenager that she once was. The sense of entitlement still persists

Exactly! Especially after yesterday's episode, it really makes you ask whether Sumo has "changed" a lot from her child self. I don't mind watching a protagonist that has flaws, but I do mind when the flawed protagonist never realizes their flaws and is shown to be "right". Shravan has flaws, especially his view on women, but the CV's will also show him regret his flaws. At this point in time, I feel that the CV's are not going to show her regret what she has done - in fact, I think they're going to play it off as self-respect.

I really hope that's not the case - but I do feel that is what's going to happen...
