Today's episode started with how much Sumo's accident has left an impact on Shravan. The fact that he could have lost her due to his negligence has made him realize no matter how many problems they face, they should never neglect each other. He wanted to attend her phone call but was hesitant to attend it in front of his father lest he hurts him. One could see how toned down he is now with Suman. He patiently talks to her and her health is still his top priority. I loved the way he told her that her entry is not banned in the office. Because he felt that was the reason stopping her from entering his office. Despite their problems, he now values her. He does not want to take any risk that leads to a repetition of what happened earlier.
Coming towards Shravan Sumo conversation. It was commendable how these two had a much needed mature and understanding conversation. As Suman said, it was "Sumo Day". She poured her genuine feelings today. THIS was what was needed before a confession between the two of them. They needed to talk and clear their differences. A sorry was not needed in their case, all that was needed was both of them to listen to each others point of views with a calm mind. Today she was not there to blame him with her accusations, or ask him reasons for his actions. All she wanted was to clarify that she does not hold any grudges against him and genuinely respects him as his best friend. The best part of the conversation was where she expected him to believe that she can get angry on him, shout at him, tease him but can never think anything wrong for him. One could feel how she felt lighter after the conversation.
The later part of the episode showed how much Sumo's feelings had affected him. His heart was pleading him to trust her again and give their relationship a chance. He could even somewhat relate himself to why Sumo made him meet his mother. But the fact that his father was not happy with this dulled his happiness.
His father has been his anchor, his everything throughout his life. He assured his father that his value in his life is incomparable to anyone else. No matter what happens, he would obey his words. Yet he could not stop himself from showing his vulnerable side today. The vulnerability that was piled up since the last ten years. The frustration of not being able to express his feelings in front of the person he loves yet again. It took him so much time and effort to come into terms with accepting that he still has feelings for her, and he still considers her much more than a friend. And then just before confessing it, he was confronted with another dark side of his past. Now he can no more stay in denial and he knows he loves her. So all he could do was talk to the only person he has relied upon all his life, his father. He told him how hard it was to stay aloof from her and how he is unable to do it anymore. He does not have the heart to stay away from her. One could hear the pain in his voice today.
The scene between the father and son was one amazing scene. The whole episode was an exceptional episode. I love how they focus on the detailing of the emotions and the realism. Definitely a 10/10 episode!
