Summing up...Shraman had a fight. Sumo was not a sanskari girl. She decided to say the truth and aggravate shravan's situation and they fought. And I thought OMG, thats it this is going to get them into a MU! But it didnt... Sumo did not take Shravan's anger seriously and Shravan did come around and realize that he was too harsh on Sumo. Wasn't Lalaji and Pushkar were also the bigger partners in crime. What is even stopping Shravan from discussing this issue with his dad?

Dont get me wrong, but when people expect Sumo to go through rejection like Shravan; to understand what he went through, to realize her true deep love for him. Unlike last time Shravan and Sumo love each other. It would be both getting hurt than one. Moot right...

Here is this girl who has been waiting for her friend for 10 years. Put up with his insults, yes he helped and she did too and is keen on taking that friendship to the next level. She is not with a new guy here... this is a guy whom she thinks she knows like the back of her hand... and she does too. So if this is not love I dont know what more can be 😊

Sumo is a fighter and Shravan runs away from emotional situations. If Shravan DID indeed reject her... it would hurt and she would move on... as she planned to after reading that letter and believed that Shravan had indeed moved on...as she is going to from Monday. Sumo was a 6 year old when she lost her parents... same parallel Shravan lost his mom in his teens and thought he lost his dad as an adult. Same situation but Shravan was not able to handle both the situations. He definitely has loads of emotional baggage... and he needs to open up about it. While it was not fair to expect the young Sumo to support Shravan it would be perfectly reasonable to expect Suman to help Shravan... provided he wants her help.

Today's episode was good... Sumo was like the Jallipulli Khushi. She did stupid stuff... but wont we all do that in love... it happens.

So she did what she did... but Shravan with that one incident classifies her as a greedy mathlabi girl... at par with PP? So much for friendship, the Ehsas?? This is the guy that we saw in the beginning of the show... this is the Shravan that Sumo could not recognize and whom she refers to as 'Tum kya se kya ban gyae hoh" This is the guy she says... I can forget you but not my childhood Shravan. And this same guy has popped up again. Sumo as a friend would definitely help him... but would Sumo as a lover want to put up with this guy?

With this outburst Sumo is back to square one... lets forget love... she would not even be sure if he is her friend. Not because he does not help her but because he does not respect her and thinks so lowly about her. And Sumo and Self respect go a long long way. As someone suggested here... I cant but wait for Sumo to start knocking and entering Shravan's room. Not stop visiting him, but definitely knocking and entering when she does visit. We sure are going to see some distance from Sumo's end not as a friend but as a lover.

Back to Shravan, this guy is one tortured soul. His mom leaving him and being among the likes of Chachi and may be even the young Sumo has made him into a woman hater. Its not going to be easy for this guy to respect a woman till he realizes that all women are not bad. Did Sumo not stay with him at his time of need? His mom may be good or grey but his thinking has to change for him to really love.

As for her marriage... Sumo is in a catch 22 situation here. There are 2 people here... Mami and Nanu. Both are adamant and she would be their punching bag. If she has to seriously get out of this predicament she needs to hurt both which she may not do given Shravan has no intrest in her romantically. So why not get married and atleast resolve the family issues? After all she does need to get married sometime.

So Sumo would try to move on if at all she could. And we all know what Shravan does every time Sumo tries to move on 😆

Hopefully Nanu and Ramnath would consider Shraman's marriage. Given these CVs surely cant guess where this marriage track is going to go...

Thanks for writing what Sumon went through as well but she is a fighter. You are absolutely right. I also desperately want to see some distance from her. So, Monday is another fight but as per some spoiler, she goes to shravan's office with that daal she cooked. So, if that's the case then she has understood that she was at fault and goes back to see him. It's all good if she is not doing that to get a confession out of him rather just being his friend.
Still a little confused about Shravan. Strongly feel like there has been a change in story after the Rukh Jau promo that delayed confession (not that I want it so soon) and that left a lot of questions in viewers minds.
Like to know what you think.

I think arrange marriage is quite possible... I feel both are helpless soul shravan poor toutchered soul and sumo is punching bag as you said ...arrange marriage can happen but it will be turning point of their friendship ...and I think shravan thinks woman are greedy beacouse her mother left ...he has seen kamini chachi and sumos mami and even urvashi so he need time to understand sumo

I don't think an arranged marriage for ShraMan is on the cards but I am quite surprised that it has never occurred to Nanu and Ramnath to get them hitched.

Nanu treats Shravan like his grandson and Ramnath adores Suman, and they both know that ShraMan are good friends (and don't have a bhai-behen type relationship😆), so why haven't they ever considered their rishta?😆

Also, personally I don't want an arranged marriage for them. I want their wedding to be a happy occasion and an arranged marriage would not allow them to be happy, at least at first. She would be unhappy coz she thinks he no longer loves her, while he would be uhappy coz he didn't want to get married in the first place.

Sumo would get hurt but also hopefully realize how deep Shravans scars are and try to get him to meet his mom. Shravan would need to face his fears and it is going to be very difficult for him.

But she is sure not going to play the lover anymore but a good friend a big YES. I think Sumo would put a stop to her love games... hopefully for now atleast 😆😆

Hiya Shilpa... I mean she is taking a lot of liberties, crossing boundaries. But she does need to cross to really know how far she can go.

When people grow up they do tend to change... and Shravan has changed a lot. Sumo would now go back to completely friendzoning Shravan. Shravan would be under pressure because of his mother. Now a lot of emotions that he has suppressed will come to the surface and Sumo would be the brunt of his attacks. He would be in a position where he would not be able to let go or hold on to her. Lets see how the CVs will show this to us...

There are basically 2 key tracks that are coming up. Shravans mother coming back... and with that his supressed emotions coming up. This phase is going to be extremely painful for Shravan. And on the other hand Sumo's wedding track would start. Shravan would show indifference initially but the volcano is sure to burst sooner or later 😊. We sure are going to see him open up at some point to Sumo and hopefully see some really romantic scenes.😆😆

Good post!!
I for one liked yesterdays episode. And didn't feel Sumo's actions to be annoying in the least. In fact as u mentioned here is a girl who is no stranger to the boy..but they are friends...not newly found friendship..but childhood ones who have bounced back with a renewed understanding.

Now as to why she doesn't take a step back (like sum commented) - She has just realized she is in love. And most importantly she knows her friend loved her. Now she does not say he LOVES her..In fact she is out to make him realize his feelings for him. In her mind, it is simple- he still has feelings attached to the letter..cuz he has kept it safely all these years. For any girl to come across such a letter, the first thing that comes to mind is the notion of love. Mind you, we as the audience (given that we have the outer perspective) can understand holding on to a letter can mean diff things - love (hidden but not forgotten) / just a bittersweet memoir / reminder that Shravan has come a long way from the timid boy he was.
Add to it, suddenly there is danger that her status is gonna be changed. What else will she do than try to speed up the process? Remember she too has been put down by Shravan. Obvio then she will have her guards up. That's why she wants to make him say the magical words to her.

I have another take on Sumo's behavior. If u go back to the terrace scene- She says to herself- How could anyone think of leaving him?She will always be with him. She wants to fulfill that. Plus by making him realize his feelings n confess, she wants to rebuilt that trust..and thus show to him she really regrets her past actions..& would never leave his side!!.

People change with time. Even Sumo did. She will soon be forced to take a step back and fully know the new Shravan. For he may display all characteristics of the old Shravan, but has come in a new package with added features.
