The love that the young shrav had fir sumo was a bit of a hero worshipping love. If you look sumo has changed completely... now there is a lot more to love in her now than then. Same way the memories of the love that shra has for sumo is interspersed with friendship. The shra then was not desirable or exposed to the world. But the one we have now is wordly wise and can and would have had girls.

While sumos love is that of a mature adult shravans is that of a kid. He liked sumo then cause she always guarded his back. She did do that even now. .. But does he still want her in his life as a partner?
