Valid reason

I thought hard and found a valid reason... there are some houses which are treated as inauspicious, as in nothing went good in that place... according to the story Suman's parents were at loss in their business and in too much debt... they died suddenly in an accident... not many would like to live in such houses... that house must've been bought by someone who has just added it into his list of wealth... nobody ever lived in that house and hence its left untouched with just a person to guard it
