Sony is Bit older than SP..Sp started in 2000 where as Sony came in 1995..the period of 1995-2005 was golden period for sony But after SP ...Sony loose ti hold completelt from the audience and now it is considered the worst channel ...ever...becasue of BARC TRP system which was not present earlier...

But I would like to see how the audience receive shows like KRPKEB and EDKV. Given that this is a non EK show... I would have high hopes. Especially that audience seem bored with the same old content. Ppl have to go up the ladder at some time or the other.

I hope these shows reaches the niche audience it was designed for... then we should be happy.

Mee too hope for the same unless the makers are not going all in EK way and making it into a bullshit..Fingure crossed

actully dont know..Sony is considered a very bad omen...for Shows with new conceot bec CID and crimepetrol only this type of Shows can survive ...here...😕BUT i think now the scenerio might change of for the best and eventually Kapil Shrma show is alos coming on sony and i think it will prove a ..major turning point for the channel hope so😛

I think Sony has thought well about these 2 shows.

They have pitched these shows at late night slots. One is a family drama the Saas bahu story kinds and the other the IPK style love story.

When all other channels treat their shows with OTT and loads of drama, Sony has given a good dose of romance and realistic characters and an not so well known production house. The sets of both the shows look the same to me. Correct me if I am wrong.

Right now I watch Sony TV from 9 15 pm till 10 30 pm. They are bringing in Kapil's show too, its like they are letting one set of audience to fall back on the other 2 shows, and sit in front of the TV for all the 3 shows. Looks interesting... hope their gamble works. But seeing the activity in the forum, EDKV is getting a lot of word of mouth publicity and is already a rage.

Maybe this might be the turning point for Sony?

My mum was a big time YHM fan. She seems to have lost interest in the show. But she is now addicted to EDKV. Lets hope for the best... TRP TRP TRP!

Yea i just hope it doesnot face reporters fate. We need to praise them in twitter or any other social network sites
