Really great analysis. I don't know what to add more without agreeing!
That one thing I didn't like of Vijay that he ignored Devraj in last episode. Wish he had handled it with sense.

Thanks dear. I think because they are all close in terms of bonding and living under the same roof so they get accustomed to each other's presence. If they were involved in the upbringing, just like how Suman & Kanchan grew up together then it is okay to share matters because they all have been so accustomed. But, as you said, it is Ramesh's money & he is not a kid to understand financial repercussions. Advice is okay but Ramesh should ultimately make the financial choice.
Exactly! Vijay doesn't consult his father or brother about his work related to the army then why does he expect his brother to consult them regarding his work related to business?
Greaaat analysis! I agree word to word on your sketches of Vijay and Devraj.
I wonder how Dadu allowed Vijay to be friends with Devraj in the first place if they have such a collosal stigma of affiliating with civilians.
Ramesh and Beena are veering towards a negative (just the slightest) side and I do not even blame them.
Devraj is insecure in his image perhaps and hence expects highly of his son. The Saab thing which you pointed out bothers me too.
Another thing which I noticed was the little conceited behaviour of Vijay. He is extremely proud of Suman no doubt but that's cause she has never erred. I can't be sure how he'll react if she decides to be a rebel. It's always easy to stay calm/take in one's stride when it's about your bratty neighbor kid.
Rem before the party when Shravan had gone to receive Suman and Kancha at their house but they had already left. Shravan rectified saying it was his fault. To which Vijay very proudly said "Wohi main sochu Suman aise kare aisa ho nahi sakta."
P.S Sorry for troubling you with my long essay
@ bold - This is a very good point. I didn't even think of this. It's good to be proud of your kid but he seems conceited. I wonder if Suman will ever rebel against her family. She seems very loyal to them and I really can't see a reason for her to rebel besides them in the future finding out that she is dating Shravan and being against the relationship. Even then, I doubt she would go against her family for Shravan. Not saying that she should leave her family for a boy she just met, but even families should not put their loved ones in a situation to choose between two people and vice versa.

@bold - it was very immature of Vijay and I expected better from him simply because he character is shown to be disciplined but it seems that he holds grudges. Also, Devraj was only trying to help Ramesh so what is bad in that?

He was one of my favourite character from this show but his that side 💔 Maybe they wanted to show his flaws. No body can be perfect...
He could talk about that maturely with Devraj like he did before too. And Devraj also didn't do anything wrong neither Ramesh as he said he will return the money with interest of market.

Not only that, it was strictly on business grounds. It's always better to deal with a familiar being than with a stranger. And to the say the least they've known Devraj since his childhood.
I hope they (Dadu and Vijay) have a mature chat with Ramesh and that Ramesh shows em some guts. How will they like if he goes on to interfere in their army lives. Will they welcome that kind of an opinion?
This just goes on to prove that their school's civilian-army divide is too elemental in nature.

I know I'm criticizing a lot in this thread but I like how they made balanced characters who have a good side but are flawed. Even Anish and Devika aren't fully negative...you can understand their side and why they behave the way they do. I think they wanted to show this anger of Vijay towards Devraj because it will set us up or hint towards the major misunderstanding that will occur in the future and Suvan's relationship will be the collateral damage.

@Bold - 100% agree with this! This army-civilian divide goes beyond school banters and is deeply engrained even in their families where civilian family members are treated differently.
I agree, I would have also expected Vijay to show more trust towards Devraj since they are childhood friends. Also, this deal was done solely on the basis on business but Devraj wasn't trying to take advantage of Ramesh. Infact, he was ready to loan money and said he didn't want it back and upon Ramesh's insistence, they decided it would be a loan. Even then, Devraj let Ramesh decide the interest rate. Devraj is a businessman but he went soft on Ramesh because he is a family friend and is only trying to help him.
@Alina I ain't implying on Suman being a rebel. She would never (considering her character stays the same) But her parent has too much faith in 'her never doing anything wrong'.
In the future (I may be wrong), but any little activity not fitting in their rule book would be deemed bad. I know I'm making too many assumptions but sometimes the grim reality that is blatantly ignored over Shravan's impishness, becomes too daunting.

Hmm...I see what you are saying. Like when she said during the night out episode that her family would be okay with her being out with Shravan late at night, I thought how does she know for sure? She's never been out that late according to army discipline. Also, if this were the case, why didn't she tell anyone except Kancha about that? Instead, she said IF anyone asks then she will tell. What if her family would have gotten upset? She wouldn't be the goody-two-shoes anymore and I wonder how that would affect Suman as she's used to being a perfect, little angel in her family's eyes.

Precisely! You said it!👍
very well sketched analysis.👏
i have to agree with the part of Dadu and Vijay. Its not fair on Dadu, an army man to dislike on civilians who is part of this nation. He is being too harsh on Shravan for no reason.
Vijay on the other hand seems way too compulsive towards army. Every army man is proud to server this nation, no doubt, and their selfless sacrifice is appreciated. But i think both dadu and Vijay are too proud of their army background.
Devraj and Shravan does share some light moments. Its just that ever since he shifted to army colony he is getting busted by Twiari's one way or the other that his father keeps scolding him. Its for his own good.
i dont say sharavn is good, he too has flaws but dadu fails to recognize good qualities of Sharavan. Dadu was impressed with Shravan when he spoke truth about Damroos surprise party. Its not like everyone will speak truth everytime and one who speaks truth is the only good person in the world. I hope dadu be able to see Sharavan's goodness even in his mischief.
& yeah, Sharavan's mom is smothering. She should also punish her son for his wrong doings its her duty to do so.
