EDKV 2 Title track english translation please?

Hi everyone,

Can someone kindly translate the Dil Ki Dhadkan version in English please?

Its soo intense!

Male: Dil ke dhadkan mein rahega teri hi yadon ka silsila

My heartbeat will always hold onto the stories of your memories

Female: Har ek lamha beyan karega meri wafiyon ki dastaan

Each moment will be proof of the story of my loyalty

Male: Teri Mohhabatein, Teri Ibadatein, Tere Lagaye Huye Ilzaam

Your Love, Your Prayers, Your Accusations

Female: Vaada Kiya hain yeh maine khudse bhi aaye na hooton pe tera naam

I promised to myself that your name will never come on my lips again

Male: Khudko jalaa diya

I burnt myself

Female: Khudko mitaa diya

I erased myself

Both: Kar diya khud ko humne fanaa

I destroyed myself

Both: Ek Duje Ke Vaaste

For one another (For each other)

The translation might not be perfect. I'm sure there are some errors as Hindi is not my primary language. Also, most of the words are in Urdu and I don't speak Urdu either so I tried my best from the knowledge I do have. I hope it helps! The translation definitely takes out the essence of the song but the lyrics are very deep and touching. Languages are so beautiful. The 4th line of this song (in hindi) is my favorite. It makes me wonder if they lyrics are foreshadowing the future plot of the story and how the separation will happen.

I agree - whoever wrote the lyrics did a wonderful job. All the new songs in BW are trash and not worthy of being compared to EDKV2's title song. In fact, I wish the song was longer and had more lyrics. The music is also really good and has so many emotions. The shot the whole promo so well!

Thank you for asking this question....I was also trying to figure out this for a while....yes, indeed it is melodious but very intense at the same time...hope the end of the show is not depressing...

Thank you - glad to help! I agree...I hope they have a happy ending. The makers of the show have given happy endings to their 2 previous shows so I think they will do the same for this one. I saw EDKV1 and I was actually disappointed with their ending as it was rushed and literally finished in one episode...it was just too sudden and not a proper closure.

This army set up does give me a bad vibe ie lets think of the climax?

They get married with their uniform on?

Or one of them telling their dastaan to their kids?

Or they both gonna die saving each other?

The more we think of the ending, the more depressing it will get..

Life is about the journey and not the destination...

I have never watch EDKV 1, what were there two previous shows??
