Show is going downhill - Page 2

The Manohar track ended in the most unsatisfying way. I did not mind PK shooting Manohar. But Jhanvi held at gun-point, and she totally giving up and ready to die, and then PK saving her by shooting Manohar... just brought down everything. Now, she and Ishaani are in a way indebted to PK for saving their lives. Plus, Jhanvi gloating at Manohar's photo in his room made no sense since she had no hand in his defeat. This doesn't seem to be the Jhanvi that they promoted by comparing her to the mantis and black widow.

It's like they have toned down the revenge angle. It's one thing that she failed in Manohar's case. But if the next thing that she does is stopping Arush's admission...targeting Arush of all people, then I have to wonder whether she is motivated for actual revenge or is this going to be about these petty games. Looks like the CVs hyped up the character more than what they intended to deliver or they have changed their plans.

But since this week the essence of the show has changed. I am sorry, but nothing can really justify Jahnvi's utter dumbness and passivity in Manohar's matter.

Okay she did not want to shoot Manohar? She could have lured PK to come and shoot him. I expected it to be some plan of Jahnvi, but no PK and Kavya actually saved Jahnvi's life.

Why I call it dumbness is because the same Jahnvi who beat up Manohar twice, stabbed him in the foot, could not shoot Manohar?????

I mean even the greatest bahu of all times, Tulsi shot her son to save someone. Ffs Shrenu's previous character Gauri stabbed Kali to death to save herself.

Here Jahnvi's precious sister, Ishani's life was literally hanging in balance, her father's killer is standing there, and she gives up the fight???

It is completely against Jahnvi's previous characterisation. If she cannot hurt a pawn like Manohar, how will she kill PK??

And coming to the next thing, Jahnvi messing up Aarush's future? Like she was the one who protected Aarush from family drama, and now she is messing up his admission? Maybe she wanted to divert Kavya's attention but she had earlier said she would not use a kid in her fight.

Jahnvi is not a vamp, fgs. She is supposed to be grey, I dunno why cvs are messing her up? I understand it's to show Kavya as the good bahu but why do they have to mess up Jahnvi for this?

Also, forget Jahnvi for a sec, what is Kabir doing????? He is the special agent, he should have been the first to go and check Manohar's room, his Bhabhi nearly died. But no, again it's Kavya.

This is why I generally hate ITV soaps. Suddenly a bahu with no background becomes the smartest, and starts fighting the family's battles. At least if they had shown Kavya as some, I dunno, lawyer or something smart like that, it would have made sense. But here it just does not. That's why I wanted some backstory for her character.

Anyways, the show is not what I signed up for. So, l'll get back when Jahnvi (and Kabir) are shown doing something, and Jahnvi is not being dumb.

This would have been so much fun to watch. I so want it to happen if not now sometime in the future. She can pit her enemies against each other. That would require mind games and concrete plan of actions. But don't know if they will show it or not.

It would be interesting if Jaanvi made PK by some plans to shoot Manohar. I expected it. But now she should thank him to save hers and Ishani's life. Now Jaanvi character is a worthless one. I can't believe that this character will be written to attract the viewers anymore. I feel bad that Shrenu will go to meet another disappointment just like DBO.

@bold: Yes, something like this would totally go with Jhanvi's character. *sigh* wasted opportunity

I just hope the makers will salvage Jhanvi's character and juice up this revenge angle. PK planting cameras in today's epi is a good move... now I hope Jhanvi comes up with a good move from her side.

Don't know if it is the new writers but Jhanvi character has become weak and unsteady. Is she weak/strong and what was she gloating about in front of the picture after being weak in front of Manohar in real.

Currently I like the way Kavya stood up to the lame Jhanvi who Is all talk and no action.

I did not watch today’s episode but when did the bold bit happened ? Is it in today’s episode ? I am seeing Kavya doing Jhanvi Jaap since Friday and it’s highly annoying n she is always around Jhanvi now a days like a shadow

Jhsnvi and Kavya should not be compared like I do not compare dhruv n kabir

Yeah, Jhanvi's reaction during the confrontation with Manohar felt very inconsistent with her character (did they hire new writers?), which is super disappointing because I haven't loved a character this much since Durga/Nitya from Ek Hasina Thi. I think Jhanvi's one of the first anti-heroes I've seen in tellywood, which is super exciting for me, so I really don't want the writers to screw up her character.

Shouted at her husband and blamed him for the whole incidents do not be considered as "stand up". It is considered as a cowardice. She should have stood up for her son when the principal rejected the admission form. She has already known that her husband was a double agent. So that she didn't fill his name in the form. As an educated woman she sould have gone there with mental preparation to face the situation.

Are we watching the same show? I think instead of Zain you hv mentioned Jhanvi. Kavya stood up before PK,ishaani and now kabir. She should hv stood up before the principal.
