Actually "Shan" means bliss or happiness and "Kar" means giver and so Shankar means "Bestower of happiness"!!!!😃 😃 😃 😃

I think Shankara can also have been derived from Sankh-hara meaning conch-blower!!!!😃 😃 😃 😃
