Exactly... koi past connection nahi hai.. they just wanted to use some old pic jis mein CP thodi classy aur traditional dress mein ho... lekin CVs ko shayad yaad nahi raha ki humein har scene har pic yaad rehti hai...😆

Your second theory makes sense because of what we saw in the episode tonight with Om making that man wipe his shoes because he stepped on them and told him to watch where he's going. Possibly, Tara never saw his face and unintentionally abused him or something which he remembered and is now taking revenge on her - stalked her and kept tabs on Tara. Like I said, he reminded me so much of RP and now I think was right about this.
The Sia being murdered is also linked - Sia definitely found out something which led to her death...And then boom he replaces Sia with Tara!
