Look we havent heard anything from him or Saba as of yet so for me the news is still a rumour. Even if he does quit, I think the show should end on a cliffhanger and come back with a season 2 when Viraf is free. If we all don't stick together as EBI fans then no one will be prepared to listen to us.
As far as I'm concerned he said: 'I'm committed to this show but if a bw offer comes along then I will discuss it with the team and PH and if they allow me to then I'll pursue the offer.'
He told us from the very beginning that if any such case arises then this will be the action taken. I'm not defending Viraf but doing a tv show is tough work and doing films requires less time and effort so fair enough if an actor wants to spend less time on the sets.
If he really does quit then I'll be disappointed but I think it would inhumane and in poor taste to bash Viraf for making a decision about HIS life and career. Poor guy got bashed when he was roped in to play the new ASR and now because he wants to do films.

If he was definitely quitting then lifeok and Viraf would be coming out with a statement but their silence is telling me that nothing is confirmed as of yet. Like I said before, I'm not defending him because why should I need to defend him? At the end of the day, it's his life and I can't control how other people will react to this news so all I'm saying is that we should all support one another and make sure we have our voices heard. Love has more power than hate so if we send him messages of love then he'll definitely see it.
