hello everyone! so todays episode had good mix of all characters and each one defined itself much more and in depth
nimmo- the mother who has placed her trust and love in the wrong son.
on one hand one might think nimmo deserved what she got considering how she treated mj so far.
but i donot think so. nimmo is a faulty character she is not perfect just like no one ever is.
here she was a nobody or possibly a person of humble beginnings as was indicated and she ended up having what she dreamed of.- a respite from the abject poverty around her by being married to jairaj. she was drunk on that power that she wielded.
and it would not have been easy to get accepted in an illustrious family like shekhawats or even in to their world. and nimmo possibly didnot want acceptance. she wanted power. hence she cultivated an aura befitting the bahu of shekhawat household so that the world around her could forget her beginnings. and the world which mostly sees only appearances saw what she made them see.
with adi she had drilled the same in to him. to keep up that aura of power- only in adis case it became arrogance and selfishness and to such a great extent that he went on to insult her.
today nimmo had an inkling of realisation as to the damage she had caused in turning adi in to what he is today.
and then there was the slight amount of repentance in her regarding mj. i say slight coz the realisation will take a little longer. as much as nimmo is hurt by her son and as much as she acknowledges that mj is the one who actually respects her she is still blinded by the love she has for adi, which iam sure adi and tayaji will use to their advantageš” still a positive turn in her character which is most welcome.
adi- well the prodigal son is showing his true colours.
how can someone be that self absorbed or that arrogant to insult his own mother or that foolish to trust a person who says all the gallivanting he is doing around is not a bad thing and more over today he came across also as easily manipulated.adi is a disaster waiting to happen and who knows who will he take with him?
nandu- really! THE NERVE OF THIS GIRL IS AMAZING!. she had the audacity to tell tara that she was cross with her! and really miss bhopal, the ghisa pita dialogue of not knowing adi had been married is getting old- both for tara and audience. and the expression on taras face said it. yes you didnt know before but you didnt backpedal when you came to know! and tara knows that. and that makes it a wrong in taras book coz here nandu has forgotten that innocent meethi ig gonna take the brunt of nandus actions and tara who has taken meethi under her wing could hardly allow that!
nandu , nimmo and adi are looking different versions of the same story to me. all the three of them selfish ,arrogant and foolish. no wonder they are so easily used up by the likes of tayaji and yug.
rp & jairaj- once again the sharp contrast between the brothers who share the same blood is seen . here is jairaj holding the members of his family and here was rp tearing them apart. and both possibly right in their own way. jairaj had received love of his father while rp received his scorn and the results are in front of us. even though the anger on his part may be justified to an extent but rp has gone too far on the path of destruction to turn back.
raghu kaka- so the man is more than the loyal shekhawat servant who has been wronged. that much was evident. here most people speculate that yug might be his son but somehow iam not convinced. just a few episodes back we had yug talking to his father quite lovingly on phone(the epi in which he is revealed not to be lame). so why would the supposed father be so cross on the son calling. i think the person calling might have been radha or even someone else new. we will have to wait for that to be revealed.
tara- our lady as usual shines today.
after mj slaps adi the way tara tried to hold his hand in solidarity was a master stroke of the director and writerāļøāļø. here was mj ,vulnerable and unsure of nimmos reaction to the slap and how sweetly and silently tara tried to show her support even if he rejected it.
and then back to the UC- she calmly told and patiently explained to mj that he had done no wrong and she even convinced him enough to say the same later!
and the best part was the pearl dialogue- she saying it belonged to him now that he had found it and it would be hers when she too will find it, subtly indicating that he has her trust and soon she will have his trust too. i will not say love coz even though the sparks fly and always have since they both encountered each other, neither tara nor mj is ready for accepting that for their own reasons. and trust is the best foundation for love. so soon they both will get there.
and once again tara dons her curiosity cap and prods him on radha and literally tastes the bitter pill. but really mj should know by now, she has stopped being intimidated by you dear. she is not gonna back down so easily.
mj- today the show belonged to viraf. there were so many shades to mjs character that it can make a person dizzy!
first the slap on adis face- mj loves nimmo to bits even though she doesnt and that made him slap adi for his insulting words. it was a son defending his mom. and yet the next minute he was worried as to the pain he has caused the mother and brother by his actions. here it gives yet another realisation in to mjs childhood. all his childhood mj has craved to be a member of the family and has not been given the honour and the worry and unsure words showed how insecure and possibly alone he must have been as a child. if not for taras wise words, he would have gone blaming himself all day
and then the grandson who wants to win back the dignity lost by his grandpa. his helplessness regarding the situation was well shown. it lays the ground for entry of tara in to dadus life coz tara i strongly believe will be the one to tame dadu and help in his treatment as much as mj might dislike it
and the hubby worried about his wife, demanding she take care of herself and scolding her when she doesnt. and again he tries the tyrant act only this time he has failed to scare her. mj , she can literally see through you now. its no use pretending!
the shock on his face when she mentioned kaka and radha in one sentence was done brilliantly. it showed he had to try hard to mask his pain from his curious wife.
and finally the precap- i donot expect tara to actually take dadu back to shekhawat villa, infact i strongly wish through dadu she reaches the place where mj is hiding dadu himself. i have a strong suspicion that tara will be stopped by kaka who will not know her and tara will take advantage of the situation for the time being.
