My Take Epi 8 - Tara's Kicking Grahpravesh!

Another episode that has left my head spinning with kostians..😕...and I am not sure if I can do justice to the episode! It was very relevant to the title and deep. But chalo let me try!

Ok one mystery was solved for me at least! Tara is not an adopted child of Aradhna. She is deffo Aradhna ke kok se pali hui Baccha!😊

And yeah Aditya is the older son of Thakurjii who is married to a nice pretty woman whose name is a mystery still. Ok let's call her Badi Bahu for now.

Our Alice in Wonderland (Tara) can't sit still so knocks off a vase and hides herself in a taboo area of the haveli...A lady in white...stops in her tracks hearing the sound and calls for Daijaan!

So here we have the entry of Thakurji's beautiful and sophisticated wife called Nirmala. And a cheeky little older woman called Daijaan. Could be the housekeeper or nanny for the kids. Cause the beautiful Nirmalaji doesn't look like she was the one nursing or babysitting her kiddos.😉

Nirmalaji reprimands Daijaan about the falling vase. As to who dared to cross the threshold and enter the barred area of Bhai Sahab. (Yeah this must be Kalavati's personal domain)

This whole conversation is of course overheard by Tara who is busy chanting and calling on the Gods to save her from more trouble!

Loved Chhavi here, a silly beautiful bride...whose payals stop making sound when people were around? Chamatkar naah!😕😛

Anyways she tries to find a way to escape but just can't and comes down the stairs only to see the whole khandaan waiting for the bride to appear.

Its barely been easy enough to handle a psycho like Kalavati that we find there is another one in the form of Nandini. Shroud in darkness... she refuses to accept Aditya's rejection... For someone who always got what she wanted...this rejection is a failure of sorts...She calls her possession of Aditya as love. Nandini lost her game to Tara...how could Aditya have rejected her? she was beautiful and smart? What was lacking in her?...Whilst Tara was entering the threshold as a rich man's wife...here she sat with only broken dreams...

Was that the significance of the shards of glass all around Tara at the Haveli?

Broken glass usually means end of bad luck in most cultures. But this might have a dual meaning.

A woman rejected cant think straight and so Nandini does the unthinkable of committing suicide...is this what Nandini always did? Suicidal threats? Self destruction is attempted by people who are at their lowest point...when a feeling of not being loved overcomes you...and that nobody needs you or loves you anymore...Here I felt the title of the show played out in a small way... isn't Nandini too desperate for 'Ek Boond Ishq'? She feels her mother does not care or love her enough...it's all about Tara Tara and Tara...and her mother's favouritism over her..

Thank goodness our Bunty manages to push open the door and Aradhna slaps Nandini screaming at her that she may have harmed herself but her ownself would have died. Poor Bunty though the youngest holds his older sister who is broken and can only think of Tara leaving them for a world of riches!

Here at Thakurji's home, he calls out lovingly to his missing Tara and there comes Aditya's lovely wife anxiously waiting to welcome the new bride into their home and hearts.

Ahhh where is his own wife and daughter? He calls out to them. "Nirmala, Vasu!" They enter irritated as to why did they have to put up with this nonsense. Vasu probably busy in her Whatsapp, BBM or Viber world doesnt really care for this drama. Laced with sarcasm, Nirmala taunts her husband about the missing bride.

Nirmalaji seems to have a very suspicious mind about this 'sadak chap' girl and has probably written her off already.

Voila the bride is here Sasuma! Bang! Tara lands on the floor with broken glass all around her, looking up apologetically to all. Tara bacchu what have you done? Once a jhalli always a jhalli!😛

Rahim chacha, Jethaniji and Thakurji smile at the child-like woman who manages to win them over with those big innocent eyes! But her LIFE lessons always come handy, so getting up she says, "Life mein ek baar gir kar nahi utthe toh kya kiya." (In life if you don't fall once and rise up again, so what have you done really?"👏

Now please be ready for the Winning Kick whilst I go back to Kalavati's scene.

Gosh Pinky Pink is doing everything to look womanly. That blouse! pink lips and chiffons all over her/him! 😲

Hope we soon get to see her day avatar, since she is leading a dual life.

Kalavati notices a news channel praising his brother Jairaj Singh. He scoffs at the adulation bestowed on Jairaj.

Jairaj is hailed as a Devata and Dayavan (The Benevolent One)...and Kalavati burning with hatred declares that Jairaj is nothing without his evilness. Just as Daylight can't exist without darkness, happiness without sadness, good without bad...and so his brother needed the Devil just as he needed his brother who was 'The Bhagwan'

Here I was left to ponder, did Kalavati face rejection by his parents because of the way he is? Aren't we all what we are because of the way we have been loved, cared for, treated by society?

Viraf had once mentioned in an interview/article that this show has a sad social message etc...I think we can see some shades of it playing out if you look at it with an open mind and without prejudices!

Ok back to some lighter stuff...Tara bachhu wants to get this one thing right. Not the way it is done in the movies...naah...she has her own eshtyle!

I simply loved the look on the faces of Nirmalaji frowning and must be thinking, "What is she upto now?" Vasu the gadget girl, "Oh come on quick...pluhhhssee give me a break!" And then Fahim chacha and Thakurji had a very silly confused look, "this child is upto something, what?"

And...Tara taking off her sandals, aims high...dhudh...dhoom...splash...The Jairaj family is blessed and rice-showered with loads of love, masti, laughter, happiness and craziness...thanks to Tara!🤣

Precap: Life mein paison waalon ke ghar mein reh kar, unke thaat nahi azmaiye toh kya kiya" Way to go...make the most of it sweetiepie...you have a big job in hand ahead of you.😛

Back to the precap our Tara is still wearing her old clothes it may take a little time before she adjusts to girly stuff. She is a true tomboy who won't change in a second. I think jayraj saying they can't come to Aradhana 's might have to do something about MJ's bail or taking Tara somewhere else. Of course Nandu will be fast to accuse her of forgetting them. Can't wait for Tom. Btw I love chavvi s eyes especially when she fell they had those innocence in them
