another question
is the brahmin who sends Rukhmini's letter to Krishna the same guy who played Uddhav in Ramanand Sagar's Shree Krishna?
He looks just like him, but now, obviously, a bit old since its been many years. But still, I think it's the same person.

where is rukmini ? isnt this supposed to be a solely krishna-rukmini show as per the article before dbsk started (a lesser discussed phase of krishna's life) ... now will they bring mahabharat also in it 😕

who is krishna's first wife ... why radha alone is given more importance ... doesnt krishna's wives have any qualms over him marrying so many women ...

Krishna had many wives - he first married 8 women - each of whom either wanted to marry him, or who were given to him by their fathers. In those times, women didn't get to veto other marriages of their husbands, particularly if their husbands were members of royal families, even though they probably may not have liked it.

After the current track in Narakasura, he married another 16,100 women who were Narakasura's concumbines, since their lives otherwise stood to remain ruined, as nobody else (in those times) would have married them. So no woman would have monopolized his time, but one of the things depicted is how he replicated himself for each of his wives using Yogamaya, and gave each of them 10 sons and 1 daughter.

The entire story is not about any single woman in Krishna's life, in fact, women don't even play an overwhelming role here, like it did w/ Sita in the Ramayan. As for the Mahabharat, Krishna's story & the Mahabharat are joined @ the hip, since Krishna was such a major player in the Mahabharat. In the Mahabharata war, Krishna's role is major, and is more described there than in the various texts about just Krishna (not including the Gita). So it's not like the producers have suddenly decided to switch from Krishna to the Mahabharat.

Guyz, I have one question – Do you know that extremely very special reason or that very auspicious occasiondue to which... Imagine didn't show the 11pm repeat telecast of today's episode!!! I was waiting for today's episode in the hope of seeing some explosion between Krishna & Narka but Imagine poured water in the form of DP on my hopes I'm so angry right now!!!Ok fine they've given that time slot to DP. Why can't they show DBSK at 10:30 pm then?

The same thing occurred to me last night - I'm just as pissed. They moved Dharampatni to 11pm and Preeto to 11:30, in which case, why not show DBSK @ 10:30, since the CGMs are all repeats of the weekend episodes, which they show on Fridays @ 7-8 again (instead of Ramayan). As it is, Ramayan reruns are nearing the end - they jumped from Vibhishan's rajyabhishek to Rama's return to Ayodhya, his rajyabhishek and then his sending his friends - Sugriv, Vibhishan and Jambavan.back home. I think the Ramayan is likely to end in 2 weeks, if not less. In which time slot they can move CGM weekday shows, and have DBSK @ 10:30pm.

Catch tonight's show @ 8pm only if you can, since Krishna will be marrying Naraka's 16,000 captives! 😆
