Both girls confusion is natural.

Neil's confession was very sweet, it was perfect. Sam knows it was real. She just never really thought about it, to her did that just happen? Was he joking? How did she miss the whole thing? When she goes back to ask Neil, he backs off. He wants her to think it thru. I have been in that situation and the whole time you are thinking is this a joke or real. Once she accepts it is real then she can think about how she feels.

Radhika's case is different. Arjun isn't the most honest person. Her best friend is in love with him and she broke them up. In Radhika's eyes, Sam has experienced heartache at Radhika's expense. Is it right to live happily ever after?
