Anyway, I agree ... everything that Radhika said today, we the audience know it wasn't really a lie - in fact it was the truth that she hasn't realized as yet, and well Arjun is too thick-headed to know it either. And to me that was the best part about the script today - the irony of the entire situation.
Honestly, even after Mala slapped her, I think her parents will still trust her because they are her parents - they know her better than anyone else. Their words might have been full of anger but their expressions were more of concern for their daughter. was thinking the same thing.. If Mala doesn't believe her.. I think Dilip will give her the benefit of the doubt..he will know she has to reason for her actions.😛
Also I don't get the whole "why she didn't think of her parents bla bla" ... well, it was Sam's life on the line ... and Radhika mentioned earlier without the diary no one would have believed her. She tried speaking the truth at sangeet and we know how that turned out. So she called spade a spade and went along with the lie ... in fact going a step further and placating the entire blame on Arjun! Good work Radhika! In real life, she should have just gone to police but then we wouldn't see all this drama and the show would have been over, lol. The other reason i like to think she didn't go to the police is because she still somewhere feels that Arjun is not a complete tool and Nandini would throw him under the bus if she reported to police.police would require evidence anyway.. they can always check the fire place for clues 🤣 This could be Radhika's way of "protecting Arjun" for all the times he saved her, in the process of "saving Sam" by not going to proper law enforcing authorities to report the situation at hand! subconsciously maybe, but her goal was to save Sam first and foremost 😃
Honestly at first I was not so keen for a marriage this early in the show ... but seeing Arjun's thought process etc, the only way he can change is if he has a partner like Radhika as a constant in his life. Nandini's hold on him is too strong - and to relieve him of this hold, Arjun needs Radhika as his wife badly!! Then only he can change! It won't be pretty but it sure will be a beautiful love story to watch on screen. So I too will have some popcorn ready for the upcoming episodes 😊 get a supersized and get comfy to enjoy
