My poor Radhu, how she was crying and crying 😭 😭 😭 in front of all those who were saying that she was lying, and nobody believed her. I could hug Neil baby a hundred times for always believing in Chashni. I loved the way he said "SAM!"... but right now he is in devdas mode, else like Shabbir bhai's time he would have given his peace of mind to Sam, about treating Radhu the way she did today.
Hats off to Kashmira Irani for Sam's portrayal. She was very good in her acting. I actually felt sorry for her. She is so badly infatuated with Arjun, that she can believe any vile thing that all those people who she never ever liked, said to her. I saw her clutching at straws today... from her heart she wanted to believe all those things about Radhika, because somewhere in the corner of her heart she herself has begun to believe that probably Arjun does not love her.
She knows that he pursued her, proposed to her, and is now even marrying her ... but he has never ever said that he loves her. He has not professed undying love for her. That thappad was her childish way of reassuring herself that all is well in her world, and that she will do anything to keep it that way.
But as I said... Radhika has the courage in her to say "thappad se darr nahi lagta Sam, ... pyar se lagta hai."
yeh thappad tumhe bahut mehenga padnewala hai Sam. You yourself with your own hands have today put an unsurmountable distance between a friendship that was so precious to you once. If there is anything that Arjun detests it is disloyalty, and he has seen that in you today. You have shown to him today that you are very weak and you fall at the sound of the first problem. You could have won him over, if you would have said, "mera arjun hai hi aisa ki sab ladkiyaan uspe fida ho jaaye" and behaved maturely and handled Radhika's doubt.
But by slapping her Sam achieved two things that are going to cost her terrible... 1. Arjun can't stand seeing Radhika cry. (His sixth sense about whatever happened today perked up the moment Radhika started crying. Arjun knows that Radhika does not lie, and he knows that other than the part of Nandini being responsible for the Market fire all she said was 100% true. Add to it Bonnie and Saral and his belief that the market thing may also be true just got cemented.) Sam lost Arjun today.
2. Radhika, will distance herself away from Sam once she sorts out the Arjun Nandini interference in Sam's life. She would do anything to keep Sam safe, but once she knows she is safe, she will remove herself from the scene. And with that Sam would have lost her bestest and most loving friend.
...and Sam this time its not going to be easy to get Radhika back in your life. I am just waiting for that day when this happens.

But fingers crossed... I am hoping that it is this very thappad that can help bring Arjun and Radhika together at some point in the future. Because we all know Radhika is going to hate Arjun after this, and she is not going to budge an inch in giving him the satisfaction of knowing that she too is in love with him... not for long, especially now that Sam has gone and said that Radhika did all this because she wanted Arjun for herself.
I feel Arjun will suffer hell at the hands of a wife he loves immensely, because she will not allow herself to reciprocate the same feelings back to him. And Sam will help him win Radhika's love in the future when she comes to know the truth, as her redemption for that one moment when she decided to trust the whole world but not the friend who gave her back her mother.
Iss thappad ka karz unki friendship pe udhar rahega! 😭
I think this is a great show and today's episode, has actually cemented the occurance of the above possibilities. And I for one am dying to see Arjun being punished when his love gets thrown back in his face umpteen number of times, till Sam helps him win Radhika's love.
It has to be Sam! Cause today she has unknowingly put Arjun in a prison of his own making. Radhika is never going to believe in his love, and will never allow herself to even say that she is in love with him, because she will be afraid that all that Sam said today would become true. She'd rather be in a loveless marriage and pursue her dreams - because at least they don't betray her, like all those that she believed, did.
Ardhika may get married at the end of the week, but they will have put each other in a prison where both of them can go forward or backward, because of what Sam said today. Arjun loves Radhika too much to want her to do anything she does not want to do, and Radhika won't allow herself to love Arjun, because she would want to prove Sam wrong... So it will only be Sam who can set both these star crossed lovers free to find their happiness in each other.
Till then we in the audience can expect lots of push and pull romance... lots of tugging, lots of frustration between Ardhika... while Radhika sticks to her clarion call and irritates the hell out of Arjun! 😳😛
Goes to buy packets and packets of pop corn for the long joyride. 😆😉😛 ... Its gonna be the most interesting one in years to come.
