Arjun's eyes followed the every move that Radhika made. His heart was still beating wildly because of all what had happened today. She looked so beautiful, ethereal is the right word, in that bridal saree that she was wearing. Orange color suited her. Lately orange was becoming his favourite color.
He closed his eyes but couldn't forget the image of Radhika crying, sitting at the mandap with that moron! Saral's mere thought made him clench his fingers hard that his knuckles turned white. The thought of him loosing Radhika, not able to see her, not able to touch her, hear her sweet voice, those endearing, overwhelming and heart warming words. Its mere thought made his heart sank. It felt as if he lost Radhika, he will loose everything.
Good thing that Radhika's mother heard Saral forcibly taking Radhika to get married, good thing that he met Radhika's mother who told him everything, best thing that he was able to save his Radhika from that evil guy.
His. Evil.
These two words taunted him. How come Radhika was his? And who is he to call Saral, evil, when he himself was no less?
Unaware of Arjun's piercing gaze, Radhika danced happily and with great enthusiasm. She was happy that her friend got a life partner as perfect as Arjun, who did good but never boasted about that. She wished for a life partner just like Arjun.
She ran towards him and pulled him to the dance floor while Manya did the same with Sam. And they all started dancing.
Arjun was just doing what Radhika. He just followed Radhika's dance steps. With a huge smile on his face, he danced with his gaze fixed on Radhika and Radhika alone. Seeing her happy he felt as if he just won over the whole world, felt as if his whole world just brightened up with the light that Radhika brought in his dark life.
Arjun looked around but saw no one. Everything was same, everything but somehow everyone else just disappeared. The fairy lights twinkled, soft breeze caressed him.
"Who are you searching for?"
Came her voice from behind him. Arjun closed his eyes and let her words, her melodious voice caress his senses. Her voice that he can recognize anywhere anytime. Radhika.
He felt her soft hands clutching his upper arms and slowly turned his around, to face her.
Both of them stared at each other with such an intensity that could burn the whole world. Arjun touched her cheek with his hand, softly caressing her cheek, making her smile. He smiled back at her.
"What is happening to me Radhika? Do you even know what you do to me? Just because of you, I am loosing my sanity!" Arjun said.
Radhika laughed softly and pulled his cheeks. Arjun was amused. Only Radhika can do such things to him and still make him feel like the king of the world.
"I will tell you that but first..will you dance with me?" Radhika asked and Arjun just nodded softly and placed his hand in hers.
Arjun pulled Radhika close to him. His hands on her bare waist while she had her arms wrapped around his neck. They danced leisurely, still looking at each other.
"Why Radhika? Why did you agreed to marry someone else? Why didn't you think about me? Kya karta main tumhaarae bina?"
"Aapko kya fark padta? You love Sam na! Why do you care about me?"
At Radhika's reply, Arjun pulled Radhika more close to him, making Radhika gasp.
"Fark padta hai! Bohot fark padta hai!"
"Why?"
"I care when you cry, I care if you are sad, I care if you are hurt! I care for you Radhika, I really do. I can't help it."
"Why do you?"
"Radhika..." he sighed and touched her forehead with his.
"I don't know!! I can't think about anything when you are around me. If you are there nothing else matters to me. I just know that if you are with me, everything is perfect but if you are not, I feel lost!! As if i am nothing without you. You complete me Radhika, your presence makes life peaceful." Arjun poured his heart out.
"I don't love Sam." Arjun breathed out. "I don't feel anything for her but when it comes to you...my feelings get all messed up!"
"Really?" Radhika bit her lip.
Arjun caressed her lips with him thumb and smiled, "Really!"
Arjun hugged her tightly, placed his chin over her head. He felt Radhika kissing his chest lightly. Rubbing slow circles at her back, he told.
"It all started the day I met you..seriously. The moment I saw you I thought about the innocence in your eyes that once twinkled in my eyes too. And then that night, where you colored my shirt?! You don't even know that that night, you also colored my soul in your color. The lonavala-khandala trip made my feelings grown strong for you. You looked beautiful in that blue dress but then...that accident.." Arjun shuddered and Radhika, using her hands rubbed his back.
"I thought I lost you and that feeling..believe me it shook me from core. That day I realized that I can't afford to loose you. But then my responsibilities came in front of me and I was rude to you. Another shock was Saral that idiotic, stupid ex fianc of yours. Wish I had killed him the day he tried to touch you!"
"I care for you, I feel what you feel. I smile when you are happy, it hurts when you are sad and cry. I know that my responsibilities won't let me get close to you but damn!!!! I can't live without you Radhika! I just can't! Tell me, please tell me what I feel for you! Help me Radhika! Please!"
"Close your eyes.."
"What...why?"
"Just do as I say! Close your eyes and ask your heart that why do you feel for me? What is that feeling?"
Arjun closed his eyes as Radhika said, and as soon as he did so, all the moments he had spent with Radhika came flashing in front of his eyes. Everything led to only one thing..that one feeling that he wasn't able to recognize before but now that he did, it feels that it was always there.

"Sir...Arjun Sir!!"
Arjun felt someone shaking him. He opened his eyes and looked around, almost every person present in the hall was staring at him. His gaze focused on the voice that brought him out of his beautiful dream..it was Radhika.
"What happened Sir? Where were you lost?" she asked.
Arjun fumbled with his words but Manya replied on his behalf, "Arre!! Jiju must be thinking about Samaira Di na!"
Everybody laughed while Arjun just smiled. He excused himself and walked out.
Once outside, he stared up at the vast blue sky and confessed:
"So finally I know that why you matter so much to me Radhika!" he grinned, "Damn you Chashni!! Aakhir tumne mujhe bhi apni meethi meethi baaton mein phasa liya na!"
Shaking his he's he wiped the lone tear that fell off his eye and confessed to himself, "Bohot pyaar karta hoon tumse. Yes!! I love you Radhika Mishra! You are the light in my darkness Radhika, and I love this light of yours and you too!" He cried out.
"I love you..." Arjun had a huge smile on his face but there were tears in his eyes too. Really...
