Monica Sehgal, who is currently seen playing the role of Radhika in Dosti.. Yariyaan.. Manmarzian, spared some time to answer our slam book questions.

Describe yourself: I am a very bubbly, happy go lucky person. A positive environment around me makes me very happy. I am very practical in life and ambitious. I am a go-getter.

Strength: My Family

Weakness: I won't say that it's really a weakness but yes I am an emotional person but I try making it my strength most of the time and that's how I overcome in most of the situations. I am a typical sensitive girl.

What can easily impress you: It's very difficult to impress me!

You're crazy about: I am very crazy about dancing; I am dance maniac.

Hobbies: I have been very creative person since childhood. I love painting and I like collecting junks from around and believe in creating something useful from it. I have always indulged myself in something which is related to creative activities. For this I also do a show on Youtube that is #jugaad.

A cloud nine moments for you: My very first shot of my first scene at Manmarziaan set at Rishikesh would be the cloud 9 moment for me. In 2 degree temperature also I managed to give a good shot and the whole crew applauded for me. I was on cloud 9 then!

Do you believe in destiny: Yes! My hard-work and destiny got me here and I am very happy with the result.

Any TV show you follow: Friends

An unforgettable day of your life: The day I got admission in St. Xaviers College. It was like a dream come true for me. I didn't get through it initially but later got it due to my achievements in other fields like Badminton (National Champion), State level Ballroom Dancing champion etc.

Describe your daily routine in short: My day begins at 6:00 am in the morning and then there is no end to it. The end of my day is generally decided by the production house or director but mostly my shoot timings goes up to 1:00 or 2:00 am.

What's your favorite pass time during free time on the sets: I hardly get free time at the set but whenever I manage to get time I prefer utilizing that time in doing something creative and useful. As I mentioned I love making things out of waste materials, so I make a point to carry such stuff with me. My mind has to be at work all the time. I feel fresh when I am active all the time and it enhances my performance.

Favorite hangout places in Mumbai: Marine Drive

Craziest fan encounter so far: It's just the beginning of the fan following for me but yes I have few fans who I don't know from where did they manage to get my pictures and make beautiful collages out of it. I really feel nostalgic after looking at my old pictures.

The best compliment ever received: One of my fan commented on my Instagram picture that they are very happy to know that I am not following the regular mannerism of acting and my acting is coming from my heart, which is my own. I feel very delighted that I am able to connect with my audiences so well; not only as Radhika but as Monica too and this is the biggest compliment for me so far.

Your inspiration: Definitely Aamir Khan! I am really inspired by his method of acting. He is so versatile and I would love to reach at that level at some point in my life.

You're incomplete without: My family, as at the end of the day whatever you do is for your family and their support matters a lot.

Message to your fans: I just hope that my fans love me; they keep giving me their feedbacks because as a debut actor it's very important for me to know how I am performing. It makes me feel whether I am on the right track or not.
