Already a popular RJ, the beautiful Priyanka Chand had little idea where life would take her. Being dragged by friends for auditions, the girl started enjoying being in front of the camera and went on to do more than 40 ads. And today, she is hoarding the spotlight as Bonnie on Star Plus' Manmarziyan (Swastik Productions).

"I had done quite a few ads and also a short film, when I got a chance to star in this show. I think I was the last one to join the team and I am thankful to my producers Siddharth Kumar Tewary and Rahul Tewary for showing faith in me. It has been super fun and I am lucky to have got a chance to play such a multi -shaded character in my first project," said Priyanka.

"The response has been well. I get all kinds of hate messages, proving that I am doing my job well (laughs). I never wanted to make the character into those typical vamps. But wanted her to be real and believable," she added.

When we asked Priyanka if she was apprehensive about being type cast, she said, "Absolutely! While starting out, nobody wants to get tagged as a vamp. But then I have friends in the industry who assured me how the times have changed and if you are good at your job, such things don't matter."

With RJing, anchoring, ads and now acting, we wondered what her real manmarziyan' was while growing up. "It is quite a simple one. I really wanted to leave an impact in whatever I did. I think that has remained in me till now," she answered.

Talking about the fun' moments on the sets, the actor shared, "I am really close to my creative director Neelam as we both are typical jhalli types. We are so close to each other that people sometimes start linking us together (laughs). We are really chilled out and adore each other. I remember once we started belly dancing with our co-actors! We actually pulled up our tees and showed off our slim tummies while dancing."

Great fun!!!
