Last Bite with Barkha -Article

AWEEK ago, I was treated to a very special meal at Penne, Juhu. I was in Bangkok for five days before that, so I guess my fianc Indraneil must've missed me tremendously. When I returned to Mumbai, he had arranged for a quiet dinner at the restaurant. Penne has become a favourite as the ambience is perfect for a romantic, intimate meal. The setting was just right, with dim lights and classy wooden furniture. We sat at the patio and ate steak, which was delicious, with a generous quantity of white wine. We are trying to maintain a diet so didn't order any starters or dessert, even though I would've loved to try some at the restaurant. The food was, as usual, splendid and the wine accompanying it made the evening even finer.

The next time I'm out of town, I know I'll be greeted back in style.
