17/07/2015Shaurya is stunned seeing the pics...he stutters some excuse, eyes betraying the anguish and worry, and leaves the office immediately without showing the contents of the envelope to Cheeku...
"Diya kahan hai? Kaisi hai? Kya hua uske saath?" He questions desperately as soon as he storms inside Diya's home...
As Nirmala sticks to lies, he shows the pics...
Diya's father breaks down and tells everything...
Shaurya's worst fears get confirmed and he requests to let him meet her...he shouts her name desperately, but Nirmala stops...
"Kyon milna chahte ho? Roz jo khabar lati hai wo khud khabar ban gayi hai, isliye?"
[Why do you want to meet her? Because the one who brings news daily have become the news?"
Eyes displaying an interplay of pain, hurt and anger, her replies:
"Woh meri dost hai...Woh kis haal - woh theek hai ya nahi"
[She's my friend...In which condition - whether she's okay.."
Inspite of his efforts, he's shown the way out...
Shaurya meets Urmi somewhere outside and shares the unfortunate news with Urmi...
"Kaash ye ek bura sapna hota"
[Wish it were a bad dream]
All the feelings become too much to bear and he breaks down finally...
Urmi tries to soothe his pain and assures that they'll together take care of Diya...
Shaurya hugs her...
Diya's mother is angry that her father has spoken the truth to Karan's family...and says they should go to village leaving Mumbai...There, they would get her marrid to someone who doesn't know all this...
Just then Urmi arrives...She tries to make them see the right way...says it's cowardly to let this go...they should file a complaint and fight for justice for Diya...
Nirmala accuses Urmi of finding a new issue for her NGO in Diya and Devesh asks whether their lost dignity would come back...
"You are worried about society, not your child" Urmi states.
Urmi then appeals to Diya's father who was yet to speak about the so-called honour:
"If she doesn't get help now, she will suffer throughout her life"
Before he could reply, Nirmala lashes out...Asking Urmi not to publicise it if she doesn't want to see them all dead, she locks the door...
Shaurya and Urmi are in their car...
He wonders how the pics might've reached office...
Urmi reasons someone might've found her on road and might've clicked the pics...and then send them to him instead of police in fear of having to face the tiresome proceedings of the case...
Shaurya says it might be so, but is not fully convinced...
Just then, they see Nirmala on the road...Shaurya gets out of the car and tries to follow her, but she hails an auto and leaves...
Precap showed Nirmala pouring poison into milk and then giving away glasses of poisoned milk to her family members
The mother-son duo were the show-stealers today, both independently and together...Losing count of the no. of times I've said about the wonderful way these two actors touch the audience..and together, they create magic...no words...both were their best today...
Neha Sargam who has been wonderful since the inception of the serial won all hearts this week especially... If watching those scenes have been difficult for us, I can only imagine how it must have been, acting the role...Proud of her...
The wait for Monday is difficult, but inevitable...let's hope for Diya's recovery and justice...
PS : The ever-timely university of mine announced on 15 the dates of entrance exams to the next course I wanted to apply for - 20,21,22 ... So unfortunately, I may not be online much till 22... Someone please put up the WU in FB and in IF too...
