I am reading alot that many of you are quitting the show! Even I am very angry with the show at the moment! But I think they show all the pain and torture of Urmi so when the time comes for Urmis 'Fighting back' we have to understand and appreciate but more than that we must fully on learn something!

Being educated doesn't always mean some girls never go through these things which is Urmi facing!
They showed all the possibiliets for Urmi to leave Samrat or change him in her own way but she didnt do anything against Samrat, this is why she is REGRETTING so it means we must learn and try to prevent it.

I know CVs are a bit tooo late to make Urmi strong thats why they brought Tauji. If Urmi didnt do anything by herself this Tauji is gonna be an excuse for her to take decisions. Tauji is not a family member from Urmis side. This way he will not emotional blackmail her for the sake of SOCIETY or he won't say False things like "this is life" "Samrat will change" "stay because u have a Kid now" and all that crap which will make Urmi weaker!! So I am HAPPY Tauji is now there for Urmi. 😊

Believe it or not but I am learning alot from the show. All those chances that Urmi didnt take when the time was right, I hope not but if that ever happens to me I will surely take those chances to prevent the situations which is Urmi facing now! 😊

I know that many of you won't agree with me which is completely fine as everyone has their own opinion! I am watching this show from my own point of view and somehow I can relate to this show alot, luckily its not happening with me but someone else who is very close to me!

I like your Post, and I understand the perspective you are looking at, which is what I was doing for some time now.
Yet, I thought the slapping of Urmi by her son with Samrat's instructions was over the top by the cvs, I am trying to imagine, which man would do something like that, and I wish someone would confirm if such a thing is possible.

The show is disgusting but it can be a lesson to women who see the signs of an abusive man either before marriage, or in the early stages of marriage.

Other things that happen in the show seem too much, but then a poll showed that at least 2 person on this forum have a husband similar to Samrat.

I am not sure I can take much after the slapping of Urmi, so I may eventually quit too.

Yes one should never stay in an abusive relationship. The first time Samrat hit Urmi was a wake up call, but her family forced her to go back to him. No one should have to endure physically or emotionally abusive relationship.

Fact: Actress Zeenat Aman once claimed that her husband Mazhar Khan used to regularly encourage their two sons (who were teenagers at that time) to beat her.

If you think that people like Samrat don't exist, then you are sadly mistaken - 99% of Indian men are exactly like Samrat. They may pay lip-service to all fine sentiments but when it comes to the crunch, this is precisely how they behave with their wives and other family members.

I didn't know that is why I asked if anyone knows of such a man who would encourage his son to slap his Mother. Thanks for the confirmation. Really Really sad.
