Shaleen Bhanot is a guy from Jabalpur who came to Mumbai on a business trip and ended up as a participant as on the reality show MTV roadies on MTV india. After his stint on the show, he went on to appear in several Indian TV series and movies.

He has acted in Saath Phere on Zee TV ,Kulvaddhu on Sony Tv where he portrayed a negative role as 'Agni'. He has also done a cameo on the show Kaajjal on Sony channel, and as of December 2008, he is starring in STAR Plus's Sangam.

He is remembered for his act in Saat Phere. He made his Debut in Saat Phere as Karan who falls in love with Shubhra. He has also starred in the movie Pyaare Mohan.

As of 17 October 2008, he has participated in the popular reality show, Nach Baliye 4 which had come to an end with him turning out to be the winner on 1st February 2009 ,for which he was awarded a shining trophy and a cheque of Rs fifty lacs by the king of bolywood Shahrukh Khan . Shahrukh Khan danced with Shaleen and Daljeet,his dance partner, on stage for the song " mar jani mar jani".

Shubangi Atre Poorey (born March 14, 1982) is an Indian actor on the Indian soap opera Kasturi. She first essayed the role of Palchin of Kasautii Zindagii Kay. After some time she was written out of Kasautii Zindagii Kay and took the role of the potragonist of the serial Kasturi. It's because of that serial she is so famous today. Recently she is working on Rajshri Production's Do Hanson Ka Joda on NDTV Imagine.Shubangi Atre Poorey is from Indore . She is married and has a daughter named Ashi. It is due to her serial she is famous today.

SHALEEN AS SURYAKAMAL




Suryakamal is the male lead of the show and plays Preeti's (the female protagonist's) husband. He is a very innocent, humble and down to earth man. Along with being a very hard working, he lives his life with very strong values. He is not visually appealing but has a heart of Gold. Due to a severe sinus problem he sneezes continuously (and for all you know wears a wig too!). When nervous he starts to speak in monosyllables.

She is a 22-23 year old girl who lives in the world of dreams. She dreams that one day her knight in shining armor will lift her up in his arms and take her away with him to the land of dreams. She adores films especially the soft romance types. Preeti has not yet realized the harsh realities of life and for her everything is like what it is in films. This soft spoken-bubbly lass is not only the apple of her parents eyes but is loved by all. Apart from being a dutiful daughter she is very innocent pure at heart. She hails from an upper middle class family of Vrindavan. She is traditional at heart and is our main protagonist.
