After Antara's then entered in the show her family which consisted of her father Dr. Ashok Kaul played by veteran actor Farooq Shaikh, her mother Geeta Kaul played by again a wonderful actress Kishori Sahane, Noor Aapa played by Ritu Vasishth and a sweet younger brother Ishaan played by Shubham. That was our sweet little and Kaul Family from Kashmir.

Dr. Kaul and Mrs. Kaul had a very cute relationship as Dr. Kaul used to call his wife Bobby (Bobby is a film of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor and Bobby was played by gorgeous Neetu Kappor) so that was our sweet Rishi and Neetu of Indian Television. The show in the start really showed the true essence of family staying together having fun and also where a father understood his daughter and infact childrens so well. All actors did a really good job in protraying their characters really well.

So at last the story of our beloved rantara starts from hear. With the first meeting of raghu and antara.

During the fight with shetty and other goons. Shetty the leader of the goons tried to hit raghu with a drum. But raghu slided and the drum accidently hit the window of antara's home. At that very moment antara was dying her hair. Scared with the sound of breaking glass she turned towards window and her eyes met with raghu's standing exactly in front of the broken window...

There first meet symbolizes so many things. Not like other shows and couples, their first meet was not in any romantic platform. Rather than they meet in a very bizarre moment. The glass breaking really symbolizes that this guy has come to shutter antara's world. To change her each and every concept and believe about good and bad. He entered in her life with a blast breaking the world of her dream world made of glass and show her the reality of the world. In that first meet both were so affected by each other. We can c the confusion at antu's fight where in other hand raghu was standing there looking straight at her with such an strange but so tender expression. Also a bit confused. Seemed like he forgot that he was standing surrounded by some dangerous goons and his all focal point was shifted towards the unknown girl standing at the other side of broken window. Even when one of the goon tried to hit raghu from back side, he indeed resisted and hit him back but his eyes never left her. On the other hand antara's confused expression turned into fear seeing all those things.

So that was the first meeting of our raghu-antara. Different, unique still intense in it's own way. Very well written and excuted. Cudoes to cvs and actors.

It's not a fact of doubt that love stories are so beautiful to read. In fact the word..'LOVE' always gives us so many unknown pleasant feeling. But are all the love stories leads through the path of flower?The ans is NO. some love stories has to go through so many obstacles. These love stories had to go through the path full of thorns and stones. But obstacles can never stop the rhythm of two beating hearts who are in love. In fact obstacles made love stories more intense. Even some love stories doesn't get started in pleasant note. But that's why these stories are called unique love story. This is what actually we can watch in raghu and antara's story. Their journey together started with the word NAFRAT'. their hatred towards each other was the first piller of their story.

From their first meeting and listening some initial facts from her mama ji, antara all ready had developed an impression of raghu being a ruthless goon who rules all over the basti threatening other peoples with his illeagule powers and priorities. She had all ready has developed a keen abhorrence towards raghu. As we saw that the window was damaged in fight,antara tried to fix the glass of that window with ishan's help. But the stool in which she was standing got disbalanced as ishan left it. Antara was about to fall. But raghu who was present at the spot and continuously giving her glances secretly saved him using a foot ball. That scene was also another unique one. But in that process the glass of the window again got shattered. Antara's all anger came upon raghu.

Further antara claimed the money from raghu for all the damage. But raghu ignored her and when antara didn't get the money she teased raghu saying that if he didn't have the status and position to pay back for the damage he had done then he shouldn't do that. These words were enogh to break his silence and raghu ended up breaking all the glasses in antara's home and also paying back for all the broken window just to give her the msg that he indeed had the status and position.

And that's the start of their bitterness for each other. Further his mama warned antara and reviled the true identity of raghu. He is none other than the right hand man of the head of the basti DAYA MAI. So his words are the final words. But this word didn't matered to the strong headed fearless antara. And when raghu's chacha manohar humiliated him antara couldn't stop herself further and issued police complain against raghu. Police came and arrested raghu but it didn't affected raghu much rather than increasing his redge towards her. And antara had to take back the complain due to his mama ji's worry. After raghu got freedom from police custody he locked antara's mom and rest of her family in their room. Antara and mama ji set them free after coming back from police station and calmed geeta who became hyper due to antara's absence. Ishan got frustrated after watching all those things and that night when raghu and his two friends mach mach and battery were hanging out in front of antara's house ishan came out and threw a stone on raghu's head which hurt him. Antara saw everything and came out to confront raghu. She said that she was not gonna apologize to raghu for ishan's did. He made her mother suffered a lot. For the first time her mother was calling her so desperately but she couldn't reach her cause he locked her in room. Raghu felt bad and decided to apologize. Next day he tried to confront ishan but he got scared and rushed away. Raghu followed him and both ended up in the balcony of a building where ishan was hanging from the railings of balcony and warning raghu not to come near him otherwise he would jump. Raghu tried to catch him but he slipped. But mach mach caught ishan before he hit the ground as raghu all ready signed him. Unfortunately at that very moment antara and her mama ji was coming back from hospital after geeta's check up. Seeing ishan falling down from the balcony she got mad and without thinking about the consequence she slapped raghu in front of the whole crowd. This incident made raghu's anger rise to the peak. That time he trespassed into antara's house and broke all the water containers and made their house empty of water. He also cut the water supply of their house. He also ordered basti peoples not to help antara's family at any coast otherwise they would have to face worst. Antara tried to get water but no one from basti helped her. Mach mach and others didn't let her go out of basti. Her family started to suffer and mostly her mother. Seeing all these antara felt bad and decided to apologize to raghu. But raghu was not ready to accept her aplogy easily. He started to taunt her when she tried to ask for forgiveness and antara couldn't take more. They both ended up in another serious fight where antara said that raghu could be GOD for the basti people but not for her. She would never going to give him the respect out of threat. There serious fight lead to a worst incident where raghu throw out antara and her whole family out of basti.

Aaji and Ishaan. One is raghu's grand mother and another one is antara's little brother and most probably these two charecters played the most important part in raghu and antara's love story. The two cupid player. One person did it purpousely and another person did it unknowingly.

After raghu saved antara from those goons, he became ready to take back geeta, ishan and noor apa back to basti but not antara. Antara decided to stay back on park and noor accompanied her. On the next day in basti raghu tried to chat with ishan and accidently revealed about his father's death which was unknow to him. Uneable to believe the fact,ishan decided to go back to Srinagar to checkout the truth. So he fleed away. Mami started to search for ishan in basti while she came face to face with raghu. Raghu assured mami that he would bring ishan baack and started to search for him.

On the other hand noor and antara were wandering at mumbai's road searching for job when they found raghu searching for ishan. Antara became frustrated after knowing everything and she decided to search for him all by herself. Raghu however stop her and told her to go back to basti with others. However antara denied to go back and went with raghu to search for ishan. Raghu's man caught the taxi driver who was having ishan with him. But the taxi driver informed that the kid ran away from him. However searching at some few place they at last succeded to find ishan sleeping at a shop.

While coming back with ishan, shetty and his goons suddenly attacked on them. Raghu succded to run away from them along with antara and ishan and hided themselves in a garage. At first antara denied to stay at the garage. But while she and ishan was coming out,they almost got into shetty's eyes but raghu at the right time took them inside. So antara understood that there was no way to escape and she had to spent the whole night in garage with the most unwanted person of her life.

That night in the garage played another important part in their story. If that rainy night was the beginning of their feelings toward each other then that night on the garage moved them one step ahead. That night we saw two sworn enemies actually started to care for each other. Although antara was so irritated all the time, she helped and nursed his wound which he got to save them. And also when a rat arrived on the spot, the scared girl hugged not anyone but raghu!!she also even saved raghu while shetty was almost going to kill him.(she stroke on shetty's head) On the other had the change in raghu's behavior towards antara was so clear. Even his rude words were showing hidden concern. He got her lost dupatta keeping himself in danger. He kept samosa for her although antara insisted that she wouldn't need. He also carried her to the car while she was sleeping to save her from rain cause rain water was coming through the old garage's roof. He would know that antara might not like what he was doing but he didn't cared. The girl whom he himself threw out of basti, but at that moment he couldn't even allow a single water drop to fall in her face. That night changed something big between them. And the credit goes to ishan! Cause if he didn't ran away from hom, raghu-antara would never ended up in that garage! Ishan always played one of the most important cupid between rantara although unknowingly. Cudoes to subham for brilliant acting as ishan. He never failed us to entertain!

On the other hand hear comes ajji. The only person who understood the unknown, unnamed connection between rantara at very first sight. The only person who heartly wanted to make them Do Dil Ek Jaan. Ajji's entry in the show was also in dramatic way. We saw antara decided to leave the basti. But raghu had all ready sensed that he couldn't let her go. He still didn't understood why, but when he heared about antara leaving the basti he became restless. He stoped her saying that it would be better for her mother's treatment. They brought geeta to a famous hospital where antara met ajji who was admitted in same hospital for her treatment. Ajji's experienced eyes understood that there was something coocking between those loggerheads but both of them were so nave to understand. At that moment ajji's mission to bring rantara closer started. Antara needed money for geeta's treatment so ajji offered her to be her caretaker. At first antara denied as she had to work in raghu's house. But looking at ajji's vulnerable health antara agreed. And first step of ajji's plan got successful. After that day we saw ajji trying to bring them closer with her tricks. Sometimes they worked sometimes got failed but they worked bringing them closer. Fun loving,cheerfull ajji can connect with both of them and that's why she understood both of them so clearly. And we also saw how these two came to know each other more while doing ajji's work together. She was the person who created the bridge between those two heart. Jayashree ji is realy fab in this character. Her presence really gave another beautiful touch on screen. A huge hand of plause for her.
