An observation:
Why exactly is DM so powerful, and why people are so scared of her? Of course, she has money. But she's also shrewd and manipulative. She knows how to win people's trust. How to use people around her, for instance, Raghu. Raghu's persona is such that he can go to any extent for people he comes to care for, and that is exactly what DM makes use of. She has brought up Raghu giving him the very thing he needs- a family and people to care about- and she makes sure he is grateful for that. She constantly reminds him of what she has done for him, albeit indirectly, and thus never letting him to think and act for himself. It is her ideals that she carries out through Raghu. Poor Raghu will do anything to be in the good books of the only (pseudo-) motherly figure in his life. He's like an adopted child craving for his surrogate mother's love and attention. Sadly for him, DM's feelings for him are purely manipulative and political.I guess DM relies a lot on Raghu and his loyalty in keeping her reign intact. It is Raghu who runs all her errands, he is the one who doesn't think twice before terrorising people on her orders. But she knows, in real, Raghu is a pious soul, and this real Raghu surfacing out is a threat to her ways. That is where her insecurities stem from. She has no motherly feelings for Raghu- he is only a pawn in her big games. The fact that Raghu is starting to voice his opinions, because of Antara, is a threat to her grand plan of things, and that is exactly why she would go to any lengths to make sure to separate the two. But the greatest mistake she'll commit is to completely thwart his ideas, for instance, like that in the precap. We should remember that Antara, while explaining her plan to him, has managed to convince him of why that plan is better. He now knows it is plausible to build the mall without making the children suffer. If DM cannot give good reasons as to why she has thwarted Raghu's plan, it is going to backfire on her at some point of time in future. Raghu might think the world of DM, but he is not a fool. It is evident from the precap that Raghu is very disturbed and hurt of DM's disregard to his idea. Although he might not speak up now, or think too much about it just yet, the trace of discomfort is going to be alive somewhere in a corner of his mind. And when he gets more insights to DM's true self, it is going to add up to it.As to Rantara, the more DM tries to distance them, the closer they will be, and the stronger their love will grow.
