I know a lot of us are rightly furious with Raghu and his tirades against Antara and it does get a little bit repetitive. But we do have to appreciate the character development, a character like Raghu does not change overnight, just because he likes someone(I am not going to say hes in love because hes yet to realise what his feelings for Antara are) like Gagan pointed.

Raghu is treading a path of feeling something for Antara where he's worried about her and on the other hand, these emotions are something he's unable to control. What I have understood from Raghu's character so far is that one incident in his childhood where he loses his mother was the last time he felt helpless and not in control of the situation, otherwise hes honed himself into this ruthless gangster who's always in control of himself.

But when it comes to Antara, all logic, control everything goes out of the window and he has no clue how to stop it. He vents out all his frustrations on her. I mean come to think of it, theres no need for him to be so furious about the sound of the ghunghroo but right now thats the one excuse he can hang onto to explain all his bewildered feelings.

Even the beautiful scene with the harmonica in the church, hes rightly uncomfortable hearing all this praise from Antara. He's unsure of how to react, I definitely did not expect him to tell her because that would be against his character because , for him it will be like admitting to a sort of weakness to Antara. The scene was beautifully staged, with the backdrop of the beautiful lit candles and Antara admitting that she gets peace from him.

Hi Cat, your post was very insightful and logical too.
I do agree that Raghu only vents his frustrations to Antara and with others, he controls himself.

I guess I am alittle disappointed with all the spoilers..the way they all were worded as if to say a turning point was going to happen, instead it's seems the same old. If the writers had not given that false hope, then maybe I wouldn't be disappointed. I hope I am explaining myself clearly.

I agree with you but its the same thing that happened last week with the dance promo where it was over advertised, the best thing to do is to read the spoilers and just ignore them and not think of the ME as a "be all end all episode" but rather a slightly longer episode that continues the story, ME establishes some sort of plot but dont expect the conclusion in the same episode

great post catty though i do agree with u...but the moment where he tell antara about her dad in such a cold manner really left a biter taste in me. that was really low even for him.

like u said, he dont think rationally when it comes to antara so its obvious he did not think before he said it. he realized it only after seeing the expression on her face. i wonder what he will do next. i hope he will say sorry to her or he might just play harmonica to sooth her. i prefer the latter 😆

Ps. the church scene where antara talks about the harmonica scene was indeed beautiful. the entire scene i was like

Very logically put👏

Agree with everything that you mentioned😊

If we notice, he always vents it out on Antara and no one else...He clearly realizes that Antara and her presence is definitely affecting him and just to shoo away that feeling of his, he is curt towards her. Need to give the devil its due. If he is rude towards her, he also takes utmost care of her and tries to protect her from any sort of trouble.

We as viewers are not liking Raghu's rudeness towards Antara but I am very much happy of the fact that Raghu's character is kept intact. Character assassination is something which I detest.

I am more eager to see his feelings gradually develop for Antara rather than overnight changes

All in all I was happy with the episode and super excited about the new entry😃

Thanks Cat!

My fav part was the harmonica scene!...Ayaz and Nikita did such a great job in that scene! Other than that i was a lil disappointed!...

I think Raghu's rudeness is starting to get to me!...Which i know is part of his character! Woh aisai hi! I dont know why i expected him to be a lil soft considering she was hurt and top of that she passed out!

I know he cant change overnight but what he said in the precap abt her dad just threw me off completely...those were some pretty harsh words

I mean I understand his character but don't necessarily like his harshness. Even more than the father thing, which is typical Raghu if you think about how he told a 7 or 10 year old Ishaan in pretty much the same manner, so i am not surpised
But totally detest him harping on this money thing, it should not bother him how Antara gets money for the treatment of her mother and he should be a little more empathetic considering he could not save his mother because he did not have the money. But this is what it boils down to isnt it for him, that she refused his money to treat her mother and all his anger stemmed from that moment.

the dude has built a business out of fear but she seems to be the only one who constantly gets away with stuff with regards to him, if it was anyone else, they would be on the streets, dude has no clue how to handle her or his emotions with regards to her. And thats why I would like to see her ignore him, even at the church he couldnt handle her silence, she should just ignore him for two days😆

Beautiful post well put...Raghu has always been hyper and always used to being put on a pedestal...here was a girl who showed him his place right from the time they met and here he was instead of hating her being completely smitten by her and unable to realise what those feelings are...Antara on the other hand slowly sees the softer side of Raghu and is trying to figure out who the actual Raghu is...beautifully shown and now am sure once they reach home they will not be able to take their minds off each other and thats when the realisation of love and actual love will happen...
