"What's up, Mrs. Shergill?" He tapped on her shoulder whose hands were deep in her bag, seemingly looking for something in it. Startled with his sudden appearance that she wasn't expecting for he was supposed to be in a meeting and not in Shergill house, she messed the stuff in her bag and pulled its two ends together before turning towards him.
"Nothing... nothing at all. What are you doing here?" She quickly covered up her fumbling and gave a half smile to him.
"Was missing you," he said, inching towards her in the smoothest voice he could manage.
"Ha...haan?" Her eyebrows rose, visibly taken aback with what he said.
"Meeting got over soon. I wasn't feeling too well so I -"
"Why, what happened? Are you alright? Come, sit first." She pulled him and pressed her hands on his shoulders making him sit on the bed as she shot her questions at him. "Is it fever?" Even before he could let her know, her palm touched his forehead and he watched her heaving a sigh in relief. "You don't have fever."
"I knowww," he stretched the word as his sarcastic tone was back in action. "If only you allow me to speak, I can let you know. It's just a headache but since I am feeling uneasy, I think, it is migraine and my migraines are bad."
"Oh." That was all she could manage.
"It's nice."
"Huh?" She uttered, looking at him, clueless.
"It's nice to see you getting all worked up for me. It's nice to see the concern. I wasn't expecting it," he responded while lying on the bed. Though he had shut his eyes, he wished he hadn't for he missed seeing that expression on her face, blend of surprise and shock.
She furrowed her eyebrows at his words that certainly didn't seem to please her. What did he think? He thought she didn't care for him? "Not everyone is bedil like you, Mr. Shergill." She retorted, clearly upset knowing about her reflection in his mind.
"You really think I am bedil, Mrs. Shergill? Think about it." His eyes were still closed, when put forward a question for her, slipping his arm underneath his head.

Since I am quite disappointed with Rakshit because of that Lavanya scene, I am trying to get back to the Rakshit I adore. 😆
Help Mrs. Shergill in remembering all the times her Mr. Shergill has been anything but bedil. Share the moment you think when our dearest Mr. Shergill were opposite of bedil.
PS: Just another attempt in increasing forum activity and forum pages, perhaps. 🤗
