Here are some random scenes between AR.
Prelude- AR are back together as a couple. The magic happened in the PS wedding. But they are still keeping their relationship under wraps, reason being that they both want to undo the damage they have done to their professional image. A wants to focus on his work, become IOTM, win back Shanks approval before they make the relationship public.
Scene 1
A and R are sitting on the bottom step of their favorite hide out – the fire escape. R is pouring over a heavy medical text book while A is busy playing with her hair.
R: Armaan it says here that bevacizumab and erlotinib before surgery is safe, effective and may prolong patients' survival. So maybe we should continue the durg treatment. In fact even if the cancer has metastasised to the lymph nodes, the survival chances are improved by between 5-15 per cent if drugs are used in addition to surgery.
A(in a distracted way) : hmmmmm
He tucks her hair behind her ear and runs a finger down her neck.
R(annoyed): Armaaaaan!!!! Have you been listening to what I have been saying?
A(startled, his blissful revere disrupted): Yes of course honey, I have been paying full attention.
R: we are supposed to be studying!
A: I am studying. I have studied that there is a small indentation in you ear just above the lobe (he traces the outline of her ear with his finger) and you have the most beautiful neck (he brushes away her hair so he can see her neck clearly) and right at nape of your neck is a small mole (he leans over and kisses it).
R(more annoyed now, she pushes him away, shuts the book with bang): Great! Just Great! If you keep up like this you can as well forget being the IOTM, or impressing Papa. And we will have to play this hide and seek game forever.
R gets up in a huff. Grumbling , "I don't know why I bother with you so much". As she turns to leave, A grabs her hand and stops her.
A(teasingly) :"uh oh, the day just started and I am in the dog house already?"
He yanks her hand and pulls her down, she lands into his arms.
A(in a serious tone now): Studies on this treatment were conducted in Prague where they gave the patients bevacizumab intravenously once every two weeks for four doses, and erlotinib orally every day for eight weeks. Two weeks after the last dose of erlotinib and four weeks after the last dose of bevacizumab, they surgically removed the kidney tumour -cytoreductive nephrectomy.
R(blushing from being so close and sheepish after hearing his last words): Oh! so you have already studied this.
A: Yes Ma'am I have and I have already discussed the treatment plan with doctor Keerti and she has approved it.
R: oh!
A (smiling now): So where is the reward for all my hard work?
R(smiling too, she puts her arms around him and gives him a quick peck on the cheek): There, happy now?!
A( makes a disappointed face): Just that?!! I was expecting a kiss on the lips.
He puckers up. R, laughing, extracts herself from his arms and pushes him away.
R: A kiss on the lips will be your reward when you complete the surgery successfully.
A: Really!!! Wow! That's some reward system. So when I win the IOTM I can expect the biggest reward of all… you know…..
(he raises his eyebrows and winks at her)
R( in pretend shock) : Armaan!!!! You are shameless!!! And Greedy!!!!
She collects her books and walks up the steps , smiling, Pauses at the door , turns back to him
R: But I still love you.
As the door swings shut behind her A leans against the wall and lets out a deep sigh
A: And I love you too Riddhima.
