Why Confess?

Hey everyone!

Lol I'm sure this title would have certainly caught you're attention...(don't worry people...I completely adore the Armaan-Riddhima jodi❤️)

I was writing an essay and I suddenly had a thought (well not exactly suddenly...I have been thinking about this for a while now but finally found the courage to voice it).

Why does admitting love have to be called a confession😕? I mean it makes love seem as if its some sort of crime which needs to be confessed if committed. Why does Riddhima have to confess her love for Armaan...surely there's nothing wrong in her loving him? I know what people mean by "confession" but surely we're using the wrong word to describe it?

thats what i thought...but why do u think the word confession is being used all the time?

Yeah,,, I guess we can use another word other than confessing but what that other word would be?

I guess we can come up with it and than use it instead of "confession"

See,i do understand what your telling.But in AR's case confession is the right word.Though they know they love each other..Riddhima's scared to voice what she feels...she loves armaan..a lot however she also feels they are too different and being together isnt going to give them any happiness...She has to confess her love..letting him know and giving him the confidence that there is a relationship between is..The way she behaves..its as though she has a doubt whether she loves him or not..!!

i see where you're coming from....and i think i agree with u in this case! ridz does think that there is something wrong about her loving armaan! she's so naive...lol

the word, confession means..... acknowledgment; avowal, especially in a matter pertaining to one's self; the admission of a debt, obligation, or crime.....in this case if we dnt take the meaning too literally it wud mean that Riddhima needs to acknowledge her love as it pertains to herself.....does that make sense??
