Through thick and thin Armaan has stood by Ridhima's side and supported her to the best of his ability. Ridhima on the other had weakened and started giving up, only to find herself being encouraged by Armaan himself to be strong.
The result of all of this? A happy beginning for the two - Armaan Malik & Ridhima Basket Malik.
After a VERY long time I've finally seen Ridhima Modi smile, only thing is... she was with her Not-So-Ex-Boyfriend. Her smile just made the whole episode so much more bearable. To see her happy, and smiling from her heart made everything so much better. Just the mere fact that Ridhima Modi smiled with and because of Armaan Malik, this is probably one of the best episodes of DMG 2, hands down.
"Tum kehte ho na ke Ridhima sirf Armaan ka hai? Ridhima ko lagta hai ke Armaan sirf uska hai. Sirf uska haq hai Armaan par."
Hearing that sentence from Mrs.Ridhima Modi put me on cloud nine. Just the mere fact that Ridhima is finally accepting what's hers, and is jatoing her haq on Armaan, makes me damn happy.
"Mere faisle ke kimaat tum nahin chukaoge, Armaan."
Also, the fact that Ridhima actually spoke those words and realized herself that her decision was a trouble to both herself and Armaan is more than enough to me. To know that she has realized what she has done, and how it's affecting everyone, is just incredible.
"Ek akhri vada karoge mujhse? Aur iss bar, sacha vadaa.... humesha khush reh na. Aur vapaas apne pourane pagaal... charming Armaan ban jana. Koyie bhi sad situation ho, use humesha happy bana deta hai."
As Ridhima said those words, it made me realize how deep her love for Armaan is. Though she hasn't been accepting it all these days and months, she finally is coming to terms of her love with Armaan, and is depicting her happiness through these promises. The way she smiled and cried tears of happiness and sadness made this scene so much more amazing.
Then the episode moves on to Armaan in his room doing push ups, and Siddhant in his living room moping on his couch. Siddhant finally realizes Ridhima's love for Armaan, and that too in quite a dramatic manner.
"Har paal voh Armaan ko yaad kar ti hai, phir mujhe chuna!"
Ah, the understatement of the year. Finally Siddhant realizes what's not his. Finally. Just the fact that Siddhant FINALLY stopped being oblivious to what was in his face, and finally started taking notice of the fact that his wife was in the locker room with her Not-So-Ex-Boyfriend, and was confessing herself to him, he stood by and watched like a statue. Nonetheless, he did come back with an amazing decision.
"Bechari Ridhima, kitna bardaasht kiya hain itne kuch dino mein."
Oh my. Only a few days? No no, no, Siddhant. Ever since she's been married to you she's endured such taunts and torture. So no need to say "dino mein". Nevertheless, admitting that she HAS in fact endured such behaviour, is quite a mature move on your behalf.
"Humesha sirf Armaan ko pyar kiya hai tumhare dil ne. Bass, ab aur sacrifice nahin kar ne dounga tum dono ko. Sahi kaha tha Armaan ne. Mein tum dono ka pyaar nahin samaaj paya. Armaan - Ridhima ka pyaar sab se alaag hai."
Just hearing those words from Siddhant made my day. I don't even need to elaborate on this dialogue, because it explains itself.
"Phir se do pyaar karne valo ke beech mein, mein nahin ana chata."
Oh my. So smart! Bohat sudar gaye ho, Siddhant. I'm glad that Siddhant is finally shown to hav some brains and finally take a decision without having to be scolded at by his own wife. Glad to know Siddhant can think by himself!
"Tum Ridhima Gupta ho!"
THAT was music to my ears. the fact that Siddhant finally accepted that she's not Mrs. Ridhima Modi but in fact Ridhima Gupta, is by far one of the best moments in this episodes, and DMG 2. Great thinking, Siddhant!
"Ek baar pehle hi mein tum dono ke beech mein aa chooka hoon, phir se do pyaar karne valo ke beech mein nahin ana chata mein. Tum iss farz, aur mujhe, bhool jao Ridhima."
Now that took guts to say, and I'm extremely proud of Siddhant for what he said, and how he approached Ridhima about the situation. Finally thinking for himself, and for Ridhima's happiness, he's letting her go. Finally.
Overall the whole episode was intense, and power packed. The littlest moments counted the most in today's episode, and the fact that Ridhima took charge in the fist couple of parts in the parts, and said what was in her heart, and what was the truth - made it all the more bearable.
An absolutely amazing episode. Have got to say, Jennifer Winget - You're a BRILLIANT actress. Loved your work today. You definitely out-shined everyone! Ridhima Basket Gupta is back with a bang!
- PEACEEEEEE.
