😃 This topic maybe controversial - but that is why im here. 😃 😛
So, this girl fell head over heels in love with a guy and then lost him in a tragic accident. Having lost faith, confidence, the will to live she tried to continue life without him, finding it difficult to accept life after him. On discovering the fact that he is alive and kicking, she set out to look for him.
En route to him she unintentionally crossed paths with a friend who supported her, saved her life on many occasions, understood her and gave her a reason to live. He then saved her from society's taunts and married her, she began to see herself with this guy and began accepting him as part of her life.
When her first love came back, we all saw her hurting, battling with her heart and mind, baffled: Sid was now her husband who had supported her but Armaan's memories were still etched within her.
In all the times she was given an ultimatum she always chose Sid, whether it was when Mummy Modi was trying to get AR back together, whether it was the orphanage whereafter Sid had an accident, Karva Chauth, Party at Sids House - she told Sid that she had told Armaan she loved him but it was Sid that had shown her the meaning of love and she wanted to hear it from him.
She left her marital home for the sake of her husband's wellbeing as she understood that she had caused him pain but came back as soon as she realised he was ready to take her back and confessed his love for her.
She saw that her ex was uncomfortable seeing her with someone else so understood that being bold infront of him wouldnt be right.
She wants to make sure the right woman comes in his life who wont let him stray back to his old bad habits and genuinely wants the best for him.
She wanted closure in the sense that if Armaan attended her wedding and saw her happy with Sid she could close this chapter for ever, sadly this didnt happen and she was then left to worry about his disappearance throughout her wedding days. This worry then evoked past memories and undoubtedly if you were getting engaged to this person a year ago then these memories would also trigger past emotions relating to this person.
The momentarily lapse is also understandable as her past love persisted on reminding her of the old times and she fell back into those memories with him until reality kicked in and she realised she was married - im not going to include what happened in precaps as i believe these were just to withhold interest and not part of the storyline - but in the actual episode all Riddhima seems to do once she realises its Armaan and not Sid is listen to what he has to say, fall back with him, stroke his head and she sees the bracelet - to me, this isnt a form of adultery. its a split second decision which could have resulted in adultery, but she stopped because this isnt what she wanted.
😳 guilt ridden-she returned to her husband and pined for his love, wanted to know that she still belonged with him and she wasnt calm until he reassured her that he still loved her. 👏 👏
I know that AR fans are having a party right now, inviting to mehndi's and weddings, I no longer watch the show so im not sure what is going on but what I do know is that Riddhima belongs with Sid. There are fans that are stating that Riddhima left Sid. Riddhima didnt leave Sid...It was Sid that left Riddhima to let her live her life but im sure that Riddhima will not want to move on with her life without Sid. I know that Armaan has a special place in Riddhima's heart...but which first love doesnt?? They are always special but he belongs in the past. Riddhima's future lies with Sid, in his heart, in his home, living through their youth and growing old together. This can not be how their immaculate relationship ends - their story is incomplete right now-it has to go on otherwise it will be such a shame to leave it unfinished.

👏👏 this character has been amazingly well-written, and executed perfectly by Jennifer Winget - I cant really comment on past Riddhima's as JW is the only Riddhima that I have seen but im going to say the emotions that the character has been experiencing this year are probably the most difficult to portray but JW has done a fantastic job in reflecting them in her performances! 👏 👏
Im sure there are real life Riddhima's out there that have experienced situations like this and will have done no different to what this Riddhima has done - I know I would have done it no different to her - what we need to understand is that if the past comes to haunt you, you will be scared - Armaan is her past and if he reminds her of their history it is easy to sway but with Sid's loyalty, confidence and trust in love it'll be hard for her to stay away from him. So please SR fans, stick to promoting this couple!! Dont lose hope! Amor vincit omnia - True Love Conquers All!

👏👏 this character has been amazingly well-written, and executed perfectly by Jennifer Winget - I cant really comment on past Riddhima's as JW is the only Riddhima that I have seen but im going to say the emotions that the character has been experiencing this year are probably the most difficult to portray but JW has done a fantastic job in reflecting them in her performances! 👏 👏
Im sure there are real life Riddhima's out there that have experienced situations like this and will have done no different to what this Riddhima has done - I know I would have done it no different to her - what we need to understand is that if the past comes to haunt you, you will be scared - Armaan is her past and if he reminds her of their history it is easy to sway but with Sid's loyalty, confidence and trust in love it'll be hard for her to stay away from him. So please SR fans, stick to promoting this couple!! Dont lose hope! Amor vincit omnia - True Love Conquers All!
