Well I don't think the i-f ranking system is a big deal anyways. I don't think you can judge the popularity of an actor out of this

There is Blemishness in I-F Rankings.

Thumbs up khushi. I dont know how the buzz point affect a celebrity's ranking system. Second thing is I have also complain in view point system. This section is not transparent like other sections. They should show us the total view otherwise how can we know that how much time we enter our fan clubs fc?

But I dont think posting this in DMG forum will help this much.

and there are different segments on IF, which perhaps would count in the ranking system... hence, the whole news, buzz etc bit is pretty fair .. and just cos an actor aint number one on IF, doesnt in anyway mean he is not good otherwise ...

when there are a large number of people this kinda tampering is very possible...
and the IP thing, take my house for instance, there are three of us, who use IF from my house, my cousin, i and sometimes my bro .. ofcourse just to download stuff... mine's another story .. but what would you do if two people from the same house like the same actor ???

i really like Sid, Armaan as well as Maan... but i have never visited any of their fan clubs after joining them...i dont have to prove my loyality as a fan time and again by voting them to the top!!

I agree with you to the ip part you mentioned. I think ip tracking would not be a true solution for removing fake. Most of the ISP serve the same ip to every home using Port address translating(PAT). Some isp use NAT and provide private ip to home user. The real ip is very few number in IPv4 system. So if anyone create a genuine ip or pole then what will other do at that time?
