The precap left us with a nice cliffhanger for a change- Shankypanky declares that his immayure son-in-law Dr.Sidhant Modi who has been imitating ten year olds for weeks now is to be the new disciplinary.
I think this is a great move by the cvs, a thoroughly unexpected one at that.
I think Shanky has his own powerful reasons behind this- he cannot appoint shilpa,jp-jiggy or Arman as the disciplinary because they pranked him.He has already tested his daughter but she was singing duets in her hubby's arms that very night- so what does he do?He burdens his son-in-law with the responsibility- we might all disagree with him but Shanky has always seen the mature serious Sid esp after Ridzy's entry- the man who saved his crazy daughter,took care of her responsibly.For him his son-in-law is a responsible man -
Can Sid really do this- can he discipline his friends when always he has shielded them after their pranks or helped them do it-would this make him more mature -This will test how much has Dr.Sid actually grown in character after so many trials- can he fulfil this responsibility and if he can how this affect his relationship with others?
As for JP-Jiggy I think they would be shocked but they wont pose much of a problem but as always they might make some dialogues that you are no longer the friend we knew.Shilpa, I think, will at the recieving end of his scolding(if he takes his job seriously) but would take it in good grace- she has immediately taken a liking towards her jeeju-
Now the two interesting people-
His close friend Arman- How would he react?I would think he would react well because he does seem to show that he wants to be the disciplinary esp as he harrasses Ridhima as for her acts and almost challenges her- he even defends Shilpa- but is he doing this a rival?
Nope if I have to pinpoint on a single emotion that he was feeling it would be jealousy- The look of Arman's face when the CCTV coverage turned on to cover SR dance was of sheer anger and jealousy and yes when he lashes out he does so to ease that jealousy- it was not out of his ambition to become disciplinary rather that ambition is an irrational consequence of the jealousy.I dont think he would create any problem.
The main person who will create a ruckus is Ridhima- Mrs.Modi cannot lose -she has major ego problems when she loses and this time she is losing her job to her hubby because she danced with that very hubby- she would think its unfair to punish her for the same thing and yet not punish her hubby- she might be mean enough to say that the person who is so immature can not be an able disciplinary.I am rubbing my hands with glee-I want a major ego fight ensuing resulting in cold words and a very angsty and serious Sid.
So what do you will be the consequence of this decision of Shanky?
