I can see where Sid is going with this and what he is doing, and i dont know whether he wants the hurt to lessen or make it hurt him more, and the pain to take over till he feels numb
Sid is preparing for a heartbreak, thats all its ever been since the day he saw Armaan back and deep down knowing Ridz will choose Armaan thats hammered in him (but he has this one weak little hope that maybe just maybe Ridz will choose him๐Ÿฅบ) - i dont blame him, its natural for him to think that, coz he has seen the love she has/had for Armaan
All his emotions are deep buried, and if he breaks or once lets any of his emotions out, he wont be able to stop himself, that will totally break him
I dont know why in all this they are not being totally to the point with Armaan, but i guess there is big confrontation planned or something when it comes out ๐Ÿ˜•
As for Ridz, i know its her decision but i dont think she has that courage to even make a choice, its like she cant in a way ๐Ÿ˜•
I really liked the Yuvi and Sid talk, i like how Yuvi totally stands up for Sid and has done in the past, with the photos issues or the rape issue i think and then when Yuvi brought Sid to Ridz when she was nearly carted off to the police station when Sid was in the car accident
I hope to see Yuvi there for Sid more and also Dr Keerti, you are right Pocu, Sid said everything in his chat to Dr Keerti - alot of things made sense on why and what he is thinking etc

Well-said, Lennzie. Sid knows what he is doing and no matter what bad light it shows him in , he has already seen the future. He doesn't want to hang on to the little hope that Riddz will run into his arms. He'd rather face the facts and for him the fact is that Riddhima will not even think of him when it comes to Armaan.

I feel Riddz knows what she wants to do but is like a tree in the storm right now. Let the storm settle and she will know what she wants.

I have always loved the Sid-Yuvi bond. It is not some sort of great expemplery friendship , but whatever it is , it is a subtle promise of companionship and brotherhood. Yuvi will stand by Sid, come what may. Dr.Keerti will give Riddz the vision that she needs right now.

I agree Poco, yesterday's epi was something to watch out for it for.It wasn't dragged atleast. And I somehow can empathize with Sid .He is ready for a heartbreak,he somehow can undergo the pain, but he doesn't want his mom's heart to break once she starts accepting his wife as her bahu and then if Ridz leaves. Its normal for him as parents try to prevent their children from heartbreak ,children also do have this tendency. But what I didn't agree with was Sid's solution of her acting as Armaan's wife. They could have found some other way to hide this from sid's mom,but then again as you said fate hasn't really given them a choice...

this is my reply........please bear with me๐Ÿ˜†

Read it as Armaan singing to Ridz....Ridz singing to herself....and Sid singing to Riddhima
Armaan--Desperate for changing
Starving for truth
I'm closer to where I started
Chasing after you

Siddhant-I'm falling even more in love with you
Letting go of all I've held onto
I'm standing here until you make me move
I'm hanging by a moment here with you

Riddhima--Forgetting all I'm lacking
Completely incomplete

Armaan---I'll take your invitation

Siddhant--You take all of me now...

Armaan--I'm living for the only thing I know

Riddhima---I'm running and not quite sure where to go

Siddhant---And I don't know what I'm diving into

Armaan-Find Me Here
Speak To Me
I want to feel you
I need to hear you
You are the light
That's leading me
To the place where I find peace again.

Siddhant--You are the strength, that keeps me walking.
You are the hope, that keeps me trusting.
You are the light to my soul.
You are my purpose...you're everything.

Riddhima-I'm falling apart, I'm barely breathing
With a broken heart that's still beating

๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

I imagined Sid-Riddz and Armaan singing these lines to each-other over a good breakfast. ๐Ÿ˜

I love how you analyzed it. It's so rare we see people analyze things. Almost everything is taken at face value.

I feel so bad for Sid. I really want to jump in the screen and hug him. He has it the worst. But he is taking the most realistic approach. He is protecting everyone. he doesn't have any ties to Armaan yet he is holding it in and not hurting Armaan by revealing the earth shattering secret. He is protecting Rids by letting her think everything through.

Hey Angel,

I think it is human nature to see what one wants to see and take everything at face value. But what we see above the sea is only the tip of an iceberg. The mountain lies beneath. Sid is trying to be good and just to everyone and that is the root cause of all his problems. He is a wonderful man and no matter what argument anyone offers, you cannot take it away from him. It is just that the times are at the their worst as of now.

Do u no one thin that leaps out at me is that Armaan character has had no growth or change despite so many circumstances!!!
Even Rhidhz i don't see much differnce!!
Yet Sid from one situation of his marriage has done a complete role reversal to the character he began with!!!
Awsome post!!!๐Ÿค—

Hi Sofzie!๐Ÿค—

Armaan's character is not showing any growth because he doesn't know anything. He still thinks he has come back to the paradise that he had left behind. We will see his evolution when the truth of Sid-Riddz marriage comes out.

Not only Sid, even Riddz has changed a lot.

And you are right about all of the characters. I mean they are all living in their own worlds, with different thoughts running in their heads. All are miles apart from each other.
Sid has already decided that this is what his fate is going to be and there's nothing stopping it. He is preparing himself for the worst. But honestly, I think he should just cry it out. Never ever try to hold all your pain inside. It's so close to being a living dead
Armaan is still in his own land. He is completely oblivious to the world. It's just like watching a child sleep with a smile on its face, and you just don't want to disturb it. But soon he will have to wake up and face reality, despite how good his dream was.
Riddhima, the most confused character ever, in my opinion. But at the same time, you really don't have the heart to be mad at her because she is in a no-win situation. Life had never been easy on her. When she thought that everything might cool down, the final challenge is thrown at her. She always keeps on running away from her problems and just expects the easy way out. But this time, there is no easy way out.
Yuvi. I just love the way that he always sticks up for Sid. And it's quite nice too because these two never really got a long with each other before. But the fact that they are always there for each other even when the world doesn't believe them is just wow. Now that is true.

๐Ÿ‘

Thank you for describing all the characters and their situations in such a simple and realistic manner. Sid needs to unleash his heart and the pain he holds inside - at this rate , he will go numb soon and only end up doing more mistakes. Armaan has to be gently brought down from his fluff cloud because he doesn't deserve what is happening to him. Riddz, no matter how confused she is , has to take a leap of choice - she can't leave herself , Sid and Armaan hanging forever.

As for Yuvi, I think besides Naina, Sid is the only person he is fond of and has genuine affection and respect for.

Sid I guess did what he thought was right...true to his character........its never easy to do the right thing.......I will reserve my opinion on that one
Arman is cluless as to what is happening..... when he does know the truth it ....he will be hurt the most...not just because of SR marriage but the fact that no one bothered to tell him.....
As for Ridhimma...tis the conflict of the heart...........matters of the heart are never easily resolved....
True its just a darn serial...the characters are fictional.....but human emotions arent..they are very much real.....

Thanks for replying, Buffy. I agree with you. Sid's goodness will kill him, Riddz confusion will kill her. Armaan's hurt and shock upon knowing that SR hid the truth of their marriage from him will kill him. And yet, keeping aside the cuckoo brains of the writers, if this was literature or real life , they all would have risen from the ashes. Maybe they will.

After your butchering post, I wanted to read this one, trying to re-connect myself to the A_R_S track again. I kept the video in my mind and u as the narrator.
U have picked up each and every small emotion specially from Sid's point of view which were never evident from today's episode.
I must say, u are really a good observer.
๐Ÿ‘

As much as i am going far away from the show day by day, ur writing brings me back to it.
๐Ÿค—

I loved this one a lot" he clearly says that when all hopes of Armaan ever coming back were over , it was only then , him and Riddhima thought of a life together....."
โค๏ธ

Keep Writing.
Love and Luck always.

Bhavzie! ๐Ÿค—

Where have you gone away, nikammi janaani? If you don't want to watch the serial, mutt dekh yaar. But at least show us your pretty face at times. We miss you. And if u don't come, i will marry off KW to Jotty. ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†

Sid has no hopes of Riddz coming to him and the think thread of hope that he hangs by , he doesn't want to hang on to it. For him , everything is lost already. Sid-Riddz had planned a life together when Armaan was not there. And now that he is back , Sid knows he will have to slip away into oblivion. Sid is in a tight spot , Riddhima is at the door of the tight spot . Armaan is on the road to the tight spot.

hey poco..i was surprised to see a post on yesterday's epi...i thought u stopped writing them!!!
anyways, i watch dmg coz i have no other show to watch and coz i have hope that may be just may be things might make some sense!!!
firstly thank u for bringing out Sid's POV and his thoughts - i didn't bother to pay any attention to his expressions nor his response / reactions!!! You have explained it very well why sid was quite when mom was repeating komoliks'a lines.....and the terrace scene of AR pretending to be hubby - wifey nonsense - makes some sense!!!
wht i enjoyed was sid - yuvi scene in the changing room - after ages some good scene on frndship!!! The whole scene was awesome, both facing problem in their lives because of the woman they r in love with, both worried abt the future, both opening their hearts to their buddy!!
The hug was the best, wish i had an avi on that!!!
the rest of the epi was crap, ridhiz still in her marathon race mood, Armaan stuck in his La la with no door leading him to 'his' present, Sid's mom with her typical repeated lines on ridhz's character and her marriage (i still find it interesting!!!๐Ÿคฃ.....ekta is in my system!!)
the precap was interesting, i so madly want a scene where Armaan catches SR when they r very close........i wud love to see Armi's expession on his "mere ridhimma"๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ
cheers poco

I think its high time each of these characters stops blaming situations and time, and starts standing up for his/her own actions..
Sid wants to give riddhima the time and the freedom to make her own decisions.. agreed.. but in what way does it prevent him from telling armaan the truth? If riddhima decided to go back to armaan..what then? will the fact that riddhima was married to sid be hidden from armaan his entire life.. (knowing dmg, that's possible). How's armaan going to feel then.. Sid may think that riddhima has the right to tell armaan. But sid, in his own way has formed a bond with armaan now.. How is armaan going to feel when he comes to know that the deepest feeling, fears and desires he's been sharing about his love, is infact, this man's wife.. betrayed is a mild word.. sid has a duty now.. he owes it to his friendship..

As for dealing with monster-in-law.. honestly, sid is now behaving like the hero in K-soaps who is struck dumb in front of his mom.. why cant sid tell his mom to back off...its armaan and riddhima's issue.. she's moved out of our house now, so let her deal with her life.. we dont have to interfere.. That's what any sane man would do...

And if sid can exert enough rights over riddhima, to ask her to pretend to be another man's wife, he can definitely demand that she at least tell armaan the truth now, and then decide what she wants...
In his struggle to do the right thing and support riddhima, he is failing in all roles.. as a son, a husband and a friend...

truth has to come out.....soon.

Hi Hope,๐Ÿค—

You reply in my threads rarely but it is always a pleasure to hear from you.

I agree with you that Sid needs to be more firm with his monster mom (honestly, it is tough to believe that she has given birth to children like Sid and Sue). That woman gets on nerves and how. He juts needs to pack her back to Houston.

As for Sid and Armaan, it is true that Armaan has grown very fond of Sid, so much so that he hates to see Sid serious. Armaan wants to know what Sid's problem is so that he can help him. That's Armaan for you and that is how he has always has been. But for Sid, the situation is entirely different. Telling Armaan the truth of his marriage with Riddhima means exercising the right of marriage and in a way conveying to Armaan that now Riddhima is Mrs.Riddhima Siddhanth Modi. When Sid himself has no idea whether Riddz wants to keep the marriage or not ,when he knows her haert is confused and troubled, he has no right to tell Armaan that they both are married now. It is totally Riddhima's call.

It shows Sid in a bad light , yes but he has no rights to tell Armaan the truth of a marriage whose soul and future rests upon Riddhima's decision.
