Beware of the values - please!

Written after todays episode (29mar)
Story telling is an ancient art which I guess was started by the first husband in this world explaining to his wife as to why he was late in coming home. After it took a regular form it became very popular with kids bedtime stories, then the adults in shape of novels and then it was passed onto TV and Movies where they enact the story for the sake of entertainment.
Basic purpose of story-telling (if it is not being told by a husband to his wife or between boy and girl friend) is building the character and showing good moral values. Negative characters are created to exaggerate the contrast so that the good values can easily be identified. Also the values are attached according to the role. Hero or the heroine or the main character. They also show the struggle it takes to stay good. In the end goodness always pays. (provided you have a good value system and supporting principles)
Since this is a youth show and the scripters should be very careful as to what values they preach in their episodes to the young audiences. Before Dr. Armaan came on the show Dr. Riddhima told Sid that he matters to her and hugs him. Then she is convinced that she and Sid can live a normal life and that is the time when Armaan walks in. It was a nice move made by the DMG creative team but handled very unrealistically. People in the hospital look at Dr. Armaan childish pranks and they smile. No one tells him and he continues to hit back on Dr. Riddhima who by now is herself clear that she is married and by not telling him she is giving him wrong messages. Even the interns who think they are bold enough and all this time they keep saying we should do something to stop him, end up helping Armaan in getting Armaan and Riddhima together. None of them has guts to just tell Armaan 'Riddhima is already our Bhabi". What sort of friendship are they portraying.
Sid concern is valid that he does not want to pressurise but normally such understanding is between the two individuals on the decision making level and does not let one's spouse be stalked by her ex-lover in the stairs or anywhere and that too more than once. And once she comes back crying offers her a tissue to wipe her tears.
Where is Riddhima's character who said "main jo karti hoon dil se karti hoon, tum se shaadi ki hai to woh bhi dil se ki hai" is now being stretched slightly to degrade a woman who recovered herself from a traumatic life and also not stand to her words. Probably tomorrow Dr. Armaan is going to tell her I love you and kiss her. Why make her walk on the brink to create doubt in the minds of the young generation that this is all right.
Had she been at the stage of engagement and stuck between choosing between the two this would have been valid. She is now married and committed. A married lady does not give wrong ideas and notions to others by keeping shut, or by airing out her anger and still not telling him. She would rather clear out the doubt in first instance if they come across to close the chapter.
Riddhima was standing next to Sid when Armaan walked in today. She should displayed her strength and introduce Sid to Armaan that meet my husband, instead she runs out to the stairs and Armaan follows her and pull her into the stairs. Surprisingly, she has not learnt from her past and is oblivious of the people around her and her respect which have been shattered badly by her own deeds and Sid earlier in the hospital. Are these values not important to any female especially married ones.
Regarding Dr. Armaan he is acting so naturally dumb and he still cannot figure out why things are not happening his way. He talks to himself loudly in the corridor that he has lost his charm. He sounds like a self-conceited brat who thinks that he can bring any girl to her knees. Possibly he cannot give any facial expression other than the goofish looks or a dolly look thats why he thinks aloud as it is easy for him to express himself this way. He thought procees is so confused that he understands that Riddhima had to wait for 6 months and he could not wait for 3 days and the next scene he becomes angry as to why Riddhima is not responding to his childlike pranks.Amazing.
Story tellers please understand this for once, the values you highlight with which character does affect the young minds. That's why they don't want to show heroes (e.g. Shahrukh) to smoke in public. Pranks and jokes are all right but playing with the real social values for the sake of TRPs is like going overboard.

Nice to see your words, but if i am not wrong you are a SR fan, right? Just wanted to know....

Are you talking about Arman here of KSG who plays the character? Arent you getting confused between the character and the actor when you talk about Arman....

Is is so hard for Sid to say on the face to Arman, Ridhima is my wife? How is Arman going to know what happened? He doesnt have any idea that RIdhima is married.. yes he is childish to some extent..,

also where is your analysis on Sid's treatment to Ridhima, marrying under pressure-doesnt that potray any wrong message? Why did you forget that? wht about sid hiding from his mother abt ridhima? where are the values? seriously, has both of them taken marriage in a serious and a right way? no. isnt this sending a wrong message?

if you know the person standing in front of you is your wife's lover, why keep quite, didnt Sid backstab Arman? where were the values? on one side, no one tells Arman the truth, so he is going to pressurize Ridhima. She is his love. he is been with her for 2 years.. itna to hak banta hai.. Sid, knows everything, shows his goody goody self and offers tissue and shows him the good guy..where was Sid's statement "Ridhima is my wife" when his mom was insulting him...

What about the show showing Ridhima to be a weak girl, arent they showing wrong values..if you want to talk about values, then tak about everything

There coulnt have been a better way to have expiained the point.Hats off to you answer πŸ‘πŸ‘
There are a lot of instances when the show lost lost its values,
When Sid does not have the guts to stand up for his wife or for that matter even accept the marriage in front of his mom where do these values go.
When Sid makes Riddhima clean his shoes in front of people where do theses values go?
When he tried to kiss her forcefully not once but twice what happened then ?
When Sid clicks his and Riddhimas pictures trying to potray an uncompromising situation just to spoil her name where does the value go then?
When as a woman of today Riddima is shown to be so week that she has to succumb to get married to a man she did not want to JUST for the society ...where do the values go suddenly
And here Armaan who does not have an idea as to what has happened just tries to apologise or be with his girlfriend who apparently is his fiancee as of what he thinks and he is going against the values?..when was he ever told the truth or when did he see anything as such which could prove to him that Riddhiima is married ?How would he know?
