I think they are calling him a cameo bcoz DMG probably is coming to an end where Riddhima and Armaan are happily married together, Sid finds another beautiful doc, Naina finds Yuvi's truth but still forgives him and marries him, they show Nikki and Abhi married and finally for the last shot all of them are standing together as a group and taking a group picture.

I guess that's why they are calling Armaan's role a cameo bcoz DMG is gonna be pretty short-lived and ready to go off Air along with Armaan!

Maybe cv are planing that armaan comes back on sid and ridz wedding..and he stops the wedding and then armaan and ridz gets married and they leave the show both...cuz they want to end ar story in a nice way...and then focus on new interns maybe..or maybe there will be new entrys...
