No it's if u loike the post .. so if ii loiked someone's post or someone's comment ii press the like button and it tells that person that u liked their post

I believe your question has been answered. The "Like" feature has been introduced to replace the "Thank you" button as it is more accurate and it will also be used to appreciate more posts and not just the topic starter.
