The Wound is Too Deep to Heal

At first I would like to applaud the actors for their stupendous performances.👏 What intensity! It totally gets you. Right in the feels.❤️

Happy couldn't stop looking at Rocky. Her eyes are fixed on him. She is hurting, she's in deep remorse, she is cursing herself, she is desperate to take away his pain and absorb all of it in her. She is in the state that if she takes her eyes off even for a second Rocky might get hurt, she just can't afford that!

Happy is restless, unable to bear Rocky's silence, his not reacting, his selfless support for her. She hugged him, pleaded for forgiveness, pleaded not to do anything for her, he didn't hug back. Her endless tears didn't help her. Happy felt the enormous pain she caused him. The wound is too deep. It won't heal that easily.

Here Rocky knows his cold attitude killing Happy. He is hurting too. His longing for her is more than his hurt. Perhaps that is why he could't stop himself being drawn to her when she wasn't watching. She didn't stop him. Didn't stop him then (Shaan), didn't stop him now.

I am a sucker for their soul talk. I love their reactions even more. When Rocky was saying how he died everyday in jail, nothing could bring back those lost days, lost feelings, fix broken hopes, to this Happy broke down and turned away. And he turned to check on her as if he knew she's breaking.❤️

Their connection! In the auto scene, Happy was trying her best to cheer up Rocky who's too fearful of having hopes. She tried to give him a moral boost, tried to pass on some mental strength. That smile she put up even though it was killing her to see him broken was heart-wrenching.💔 That brushing off her hand broke something inside her. Oh Happy, give him some time. He will come around. The wound is too deep, it's fresh and open. Let time heal it.

Finally, the family and esp. Smiley got to know the truth. Thanks to Ranveer.😆 This time Rocky is in full hosh and josh. There's no misunderstanding.

Special Mention: Ansh's eyes. I think we need a separate post for his eyes. Who needs dialogues when someone's eyes speak like this? They pierce through your heart and make it bleed.

AB is excellent as always!!! the way he is portraying rocky's unimaginable pain is so natural...the wound is indeed very deep and he's betrayed by his loved ones,that makes things even worse for him,how deeply he loves happy and it just remind me how he said to happy tujh se hath jor kar maafi maangi thi kaii baar!!!!main badal raha thaa...and he really changed and paid a very high price for it.

I loved how Happy recalled the time when Rocky was telling her although he couldn't become her bharosa but she is her only ummeed. This brought more tears in her eyes. All those flashbacks were in sync with the scenes. Credit to the editors. Yesterday I didn't like their inclusion of Dil Se. Tonight I liked Channa Mereya. They used the best lines of the song, Rocky lightening the fire away from Happy but for Happy added beautiful touch to the entire scene. Ansh is so good as Rocky yaar! Chahe gunda ho, ya accha dost, ya phir yeh dard chupanewala Rocky, he is breathing the life into the character. Jasmine did a wonderful job too! The remorse of Happy esp the desperation to help Rocky at any cost was too good.

Happy wants her Rocky back... That boy who used to shy away and blush just because she told him that his heart was good! And is understandable because we want that boy back as well. Only that it's not easy... And is not just the imprisonment, but the constant struggle of proving himself innocent and the constant accusations of everyone who refused to even listen to him... All of this made him go far away from that boy that Happy began to be fond of.

Those eyes of Rocky communicate the years of loneliness, the tears of misery, the coldness of love, the intensity of passion altogether at once. The night was over, it’s morning now. He leans over, couldn’t resist to claim what was rightfully his always. A stolen kiss, a warm hug and a compassionate life- all that could have been but is no longer now!

How fate that was destined to bring them closer tore them apart.

Rahim says, don't allow the delicate thread of love between people to snap. If it breaks once, it cannot be mended, even if you mend it there will be a knot in it, which means there will always be some awkwardness in the relationship.

Yes. There is a 3yrs of distance between them. Rocky still is that boy. Yes, bitter experiences of life changed him. However, the core never changes. The goodness in him, the feelings for Happy is still there, in fact they are deepened now, much more profound than what they were then. He will come around. Happy needs to allow him some time.

Beshaak. That is exactly their soul talk was. Time will heal but there will be scars. Pehle jaisa nahi hosakta no matter how much Happy wishes. Nobody can imagine the traumatic life Rocky spent in jail. Those memories will stay with him, so will his dear one's dismissal.
