@shades I just picked up your high on hormones' comment. Yes, Rocky is definitely high on every possible hormone. 😆

Their first dance was a trance magical moment for both of them. They both were equally engrossed. They always did have a spark and that dance was their moment.
The song chosen was absolutely stunning and did summarise their equation that was going to be in future.

mere Naam tu'

She had been spoken for, not committed but still he did see her as HIS'. Because the song does culminates with the lyrics

Payegi Na khud ko tu Mujhse Juda...
Tu hai Mera Adha sa Hissa Sada'

There is no name to their relationship but she will always be his better half. The better half that made him meet his better half soul. Rocky never knew that he was capable of earning respect before that. She taught him to gain control of his life.

She always made him a better person after Chintu's death.

I might say RV is her friend because she did share with him much more time than what she shared with Rocky. Having said that, the time really doesn't matter or does it?

That takes me back to the train scene where Rocky chides her that 24 hours marriage doesn't mean anything. But Happy does say that even if it was for 24 hours, it means the world to her because no one treated her the way Chintu did.
And that's true. What Rocky and Happy shared was Mere Naam Tu'. He always wanted his Haq' . Back in the drunk Holi bedroom scene, he requests her - itna toh Haq hai na mera?

Happy replies confidently- Pura Haq. Ekdum Pura Haq.

She gave him that! That Mere Naam Tu' Wala Haq.

That nariyal scene and then him saying " kiya bakwas ker rahe hai? 😆 This what I used to like about Happy. She always gave him the joice of being real unlike other ladies in his life whose motive was to get something else. And this is what I loved about this particular male lead of Gul, though I wouldn't give her all the credit. I think Nilanjana, the other co producer who has more hold on the story than Gul seemed to be more in charge of portraying the way Rocky is and I am totally in awe and haw of it as well 😆 because like you said, her male leads were all good, especially the first two Arnav and Maan, and I even admired Shivaay as well. However, when repetitive ideas become the only thing they offer, after a while like you said, it all becomes boring and you lose interest faster than you think. Rocky is so real and authentic. He is extremely reckless, callous, and inconsiderate to many things, jo andar, woh bahar unlike the other male leads, who are secretive, decent, very self-centered types, living their own world, encapsulated. Like one can never get through them until the very end, female leads ko toh bilkul ghaas nahe dalna hai and I do like it, but after watching Rocky, my that particular choice has changed. 😃 I am now more open to witness new sets of Gul's leads and I feel she should always co-produce with some one like Nilanjana. So that two minds propose diversity of many unique personalities with their future male leads.

So with Nariyal scene, one could clear see the difference in Happy. The glow on her face, the satisfaction, and much more. I don't see it anymore because now she is more like zombie and converted into the other male leads of Gul's. 🤣

Also, the practice Roha did before thrown to the dance floor and how Rocky said " try kerte hain and then Happy slapping him 😆 and then saying " tujhe humari partnership ki kasam hai, tu ese ese na ghooma how cute was she? I totally loved her in that episode. Before that even the Grover and Roha scene when he was compelling them to join the others on the dance floor and how Happy was adorably and annoyingly isharon main telling Rocky not to consider Grover and his wish and Rocky being a tease, he was just beaming until Grover literally threw them on the floor and they had no choice but to move and groove 😛 at one point I didn't think Rocky could dance so well, but that day, he was just too handsome and extremely versatile

Apart from Roha, I remember a line after watching the recent episode... Saniya to Rocky be like.. "jahan teri ye nazar hai, meri jaan mujhe khabar hai her gaze is amazing 😆

👏 Couldn't agree more! The song is so apt. Creatives choice was excellent as if the song itself is stating their emotions.

High on hormones was my sadistic fantasy about what Rocky wanted 😆

@Piu exactly! He being non typical and open about his emotions make him a treat to watch. He never shy away showing his tears, or his gussa, his pyaar ya dosti ya phir sharamana. He is just so real! He has my heart. Period.

@Mano I agree that Nilanjana might be the reason for this diversity and atypical male lead. She does posts these funny memes of Rocky and Happy together 😆

Also, I believe it was her idea for this Damon Salvatore look. She does understand that there's a massive hysteria amongst the younger audience about Damon and TVD, so she Probably thought to encash on this to cater to a wider younger audience. If you look at the montage too, it's very TVD style with RV stiff and crisp like Stefan and Damon doppelgnger toh Ansh hai hi.
There's this Instagram account rohadiaries which posts such amazing RoHa VMs too.

Btw, this IF is such a pain to operate from phone and Instagram doesn't allow you much features from IPad. Arghh, I think Vijay should consider IF as an app with better functionality.

Anyway, back to my RoHa. Happy was very very cute before this leap. Trust me, far better than KKG or Geet or any other FL. You just wanted to pull her cheeks and hug her. How can our Nariyal not fall for her? 😆 😆

But, I must say that the 3 years wrongful confinement did pave a redemption for Rocky's character as a whole. His Karma did bite him back. He tortured Happy and got punished for something he didn't even do. You can hide your demons but they eat you up someday or other. Rocky's redemption for his villainy and disrespectful behaviour towards Hsppy during her kidnapping was done through these 3 years.

Splendid. ❤️
May be that is why Happy was much annoyed with the song choice in the last episode. Mera Naam Tu is their song, Happy & Rockys'. It has so many memories attached to it that it demands a proper ambience. Aise hi kisi bhi party mein nahi play karsakta koi chahe woh Rocky hi kyu na ho.

@shades aren't you the same one from JA forum if my memory serves me right?

BTW yes, their song is indeed special for them.

I happened to read some article where some fans had compared RoHa to SRK and Kajol. I would like to completely agree on that aspect. They have that vibe, that spunk. Happy looks slightly older to Rocky any day. Suits their characterisation very well. Happy always held his hand and led him to light from darkness. She was his guide more than anything else.

That anchor in his life!

@ Mano Sorry I realised now that it was you who had pointed out High on Hormones' 😆

That brings me back to Ricky kidnapping Happy. I wanted to beat the shit out of him and put him behind bars. Loathed his character for sure. But today, I went back to the scene. Wanted to whack the hell out of him again for this wrongful violence. Nothing should justify and promote violence.
One dialogue struck me. He had too much overconfidence that Happy wants Rocky 😆
Rocky jisko Chahta hai na Gash Khakar Gir Jaati hain
Yeh Dhaka mukki chillam chilli I don't like.

Man 😲 seriously itna overconfidence

My RoHa
Jab Tak Jahaan Mein Mera Naam Hai
Till my name exists in this world
Tab Tak Mere Naam Tu...
Until that time, You are mine

Mere Hi Ghere Mein Ghoomegi Harpal Tu Aise
You'll roam around in my grasp in such a way
Suraj Ke Ghere Mein Rehti Hai Dharti Yeh Jaise
Like the Earth remains in the grasp of the Sun
Paayegi Tu Khud Ko Na Mujhse Juda
You'll never find Yourself detached from me
Tu Hai Mera Aadha Sa Hissa Sada...
You'll always remain half a part of me

Tukde Kar Chaahe Khwaabon Ke Tu Mere
Doesn't matter if You break my dreams
Tootenge Bhi Tu Rehne Hain Woh Tere
Even those broken dreams will belong to You
Tujhko Bhi To Yeh Ilhaam Hai, Elaan Hai...
I'm sure You already have awareness(an intuition) about this, I proclaim this ⭐️ 💔

Yes! The Damon look was always on the cards I think and I think it's a good promotion, unlike Starplus who doesn't care to promote such a brilliant story except for their usual saas bahu saga 😕

One of the best editor of vming.. her name is berry on Instagram, you must also take a look at her vms on Roha.. the bestest of the best vms I have ever seen. She made an edit of RV, Happy, and Rocky giving them
names as Stefan, Elena, and Rocky as Damo. It felt a desi version of the vampire diaries. However, unlucky me... I haven't watched the series, just saw clips of Elena and Damon scenes and totally love it!

I wholeheartedly agree with you on the prison time and his karma and I told this at the very beginning of the track, not here but among other Roha fan groups. His jail time is served as being to clinse his bad deeds and creatives wanted to tone down his aggressive personality, the way he demeaned Happy and all. So that audience are able to connect with him in much better ways. Especially when how his greatness of helping the people in need unveiled, and then ofcourse Chinto's death and him mellowing for Happy after getting to know what she really intended to do, but before emotions between them could bloom, RV intervened
