Episode opens outside the court. Nandini is waiting outside. Sonakshi and her father come and Sona sees Nandini. Sona asks her father to go in and comes towards Nandini. Sona accuses Nandini of having enticed Krushna. 😲 She says she knows everything, that she heard Krushna say that he loves you and that he doesn't love me. 😕 You are not as innocent as you look. Nandini starts to protest, but Sona is in no mood to listen. She leaves saying I will have my revenge. (so one theory proved right! 😉)
Prem is brought to court in a police van. Prem walks towards the courthouse silently as reporters surround him. He sees Pratham, Prapti and Urmila and then Nandini, Govind and Pallavi on the opposite side. PreNa have a long eyelock with the camera bulbs flashing (the expression on the policeman's face was sight to see! 😆 He was trying his best to look disinterested! 😃 ) Prem remembers some of the happy moments with Nandini. Prem is then taken inside the court. (GK looked great in this scene! 😳 caps later on Prem Nagri! 😉)
Nandini tells Govind and Pallavi that she will wait for the lawyer and asks them to go inside. Nandini is worried that the lawyer has not come yet and then a person in burqa comes up the steps and collides with her. 😲 Nandini says sambhal ke and the person puts a hand on Nandini's shoulder. The hand had a thread and a kada/bangle on it! (Man or woman? 😕😕)
Pallavi comes out and asks Nandini to come in. Nandini says why has the lawyer not come yet and is worried. Pallavi takes her inside saying the lawyer will come. The burqa person watches as they go in. 😕
Inside the court. Pallavi and Nandini sit down with Govind and Aayi. All are present from the Rajadhyaksh family as well including Daadi but no Kalyani! (Why is she missing? 😲 She is the most important person from that family! ). YS is present as the lawyer for prosecution. The judge enters and sits down. YS gets up and says he is representing his client Rajeev Paranjpe and hands over a file to the judge. The lawyer for defense does not come. The Judge asks where he is and Govind says he will be coming in any minute and goes out to make a call. Prem has an inscrutable epxression 😊 (he does not seem worried or anything....just a deadpan face.☺️....except when he sees Nandini...) Outside, Govind tries to contact the lawyer over phone but is unsuccessful. He comes back in.
Gautam tells Pratham that I tried my best to make Prem understand but he would not listen, now what is going to happen.... the case will go against us. 🤢 Pratham says Prem is innocent and so everything will turn out okay. 😊 On the other side, Aayi says that the lawyer will not come and my Krushna will get justice. 🤢 Urmi and Daadi also whisper.
YS gets up and says valuable time of the court is being wasted. It looks like we are all sitting in a garden and waiting for some romance to unfold...the boy is waiting eagerly for his girl to appear (OMG what nonsense is he talking??? 😡) He says the lawyer must have realized he is going to be figthing against me in court and suddenly developed cold feet because he is scared. (Do people talk like that in court? Not any court I have seen! )
Judge says we cannot wait anymore. Nandini gets hysterical and pleads for more time saying the lawyer will come soon. Prem watches Nandini.......Judge starts to say it is not possible when a woman's voice is heard saying I will fight the case on Prem's behalf. 😲 Everyone is surprised and it is Sumi in a lawyer's dress! 😲😲 (Sumi?? When did she pass law? 😕😕 ). Sumi comes forward and asks for permission to defend Prem. YS goes into sarcastic mode again and asks whether she knows anything about law. Sumi puts a certificate in front of the judge and says I have a degree in law 😕 and I am one of YS's students, but he would not remember me. I would like to use what I have learned from him on behalf of the defense. (atta girl......I just wish that Sumi is a law student had been mentioned some time.....or was it? 😕) The judge grants permission and all are staring.......most shocked is Aayi!! 😃
The court proceedings begin. YS says it is an open and shut case. A husband comes to know of his wife's affair with another man, sees red, and kills the other man......it is simple and there is no need for arguments....the defendant can be convicted 😲🤢 (have you not heard of the maxim innocent until proven guilty...what kind of lawyer are you!! 🤢)
Sumi says how can one ask for conviction without proof. She says that Krushna was troubling Nandini and called her to that place. Prem also was present and there was an accident in which Krushna died. YS says, I have no problem but you will end up in problems as we proceed. 🤢 He asks Prem to take the witness stand. Prem takes oath and YS asks him whether he knew Krushna Karmarkar. Prem says yes. YS asks whether you had any dushmani with Krushna. Prem says he had been troubling my wife for some time. YS at his sarcastic best asks whey didn't your wife tell you about it? He asks it looks like you enjoyed your wife being troubled by Krushna? Sumi objects and judge sustains objection. YS then asks Prem what happened? Prem says I did what any husband would do.......what you also would do. He says I lost control.....then there was a blast and I don't know what happened.
YS goes into the bully mode and shouts questions at Prem (like Hamilton Burger of Perry Mason stories!! 😆😆) and finally Prem loses his temper and shouts,,,,,,,,haan maar daala usko! There is shock on all faces........the camera goes round on everone's face ending on Nandini's tears! 😭
Precap: Karmarkar house. Sumi tells Aayi that Prem did not kill Krushna, that he is innocent. She says even if he did kill daada, I would still not consider him guilty. 👏 Aayi slaps Sumi and Nandini watches in tears....(glycerin overdose for Nandini! 😭)
