Good episode tonight.
Pros:
1) Good vs Evil
The hightlight for me in tonight's episode was the final scene between Raghav and Viraj. I love their chemistry, the tension and silent tug-of-power between them. But tonight I really loved Raghav's dialogues the most. Not only were they expressed powerfully by the actor -- the phrases had depth and an underlying impactful meaning. Especially the final line.
I found it symbolic. Good vs Evil. God vs Lucifer. Tonight, I felt it stronger than ever. That Raghav was chosen to punish Jahnvi's abuser, punish him for his sins. Somehow as this thought crossed my mind, the scene transformed into something else entirely. Something greater -- much more intense and frightening in itself. There's a lot at stake here. For one thing, the reputation -- if you will -- of "good" is at stake. Because if Viraj does have the infamous amnesia, then "good" is proved wrong and "evil" is proved right.
The scene was beautifully crafted by writers and actors. Loved it. Plus, once again we've been shown that the hero isn't stupid -- he has observed a lot more than most people. To be honest, he has observed more than Jahnvi has about Viraj's character in a short time. The goodness and purity of Raghav's character shone through because he was being up in Viraj's face about it. No games. He told him straight out what he thought of him and the straightforwardness alone is a witness of his however flawed, but spotless character.
I'm sorry for venting about Raghav in this scene, but you have to admit that it was a very intense scene that conveyed a whole lot about the character without info-dumping. That, in itself, is magnificent writing [and, of course, the actor's outstanding performance].
In addition to that I'd like to add that Viraj wasn't any less in the scene. The innocence on his face, however genuine, didn't grip my heart. It's hard for an actor to portray a complex character such as Viraj -- to convey innocence with an underlying darkness. It will never cease to amaze me how KVB manages this with such flawless ease. Incredible.
I buy Viraj's amnesia, but not his innocence.
2) Gayatri's lament
I'm immensely glad that we uncovered another layer of Gayatri's character tonight. I have wanted to see more of her for a while now. I'm curious as to what Dev was like. Because, it seems to me, that he was the perfect son.
3) Gayatri and Raghav
Did she love Dev more than Raghav? Was Raghav always the black sheep of the family? Because I sensed it in Raghav and Taashu's scene when he said that she and Dev were always the smart ones in the family. What's Raghav's place in the house, in the family?
The part I loved the most about this scene was how Raghav got emotional and left. For a moment I thought that if Gayatri ripped him now, I'd dive into the scene and pull a Viraj on her with my fists.
But thankfully, she remained mute.
4) Viraj's confusing behavior
I cannot fathom what's going on in Viraj's head. I'm convinced that he's got amnesia. But everything that he does just seems suspicious somehow. The honey-coated sweet voice and smile, the innocence that verges on being over-the-top, yet doesn't quite become it. The way that he probed in their family matters made me uncomfortable and insecure. Is he trying to connect with Gayatri? Will he use her somehow? What's he doing?
Questions and no answers.
5) Jahnvi left Viraj's watch on his table
Small, but significant detail. If she'd taken it with her, I would've ripped my hair out.
6) Sunder in Manali
Glad we got to see his investigation. The old lady was frustrating. But I really like Sunder.
7) Raghav-Taashu's relationship
Continues to grow on me. Just loving their chemistry and interaction. Beautiful. Generally I feel that Raghav's relationship to his family is intriguing in itself.
Cons:
1) Sia messing up Viraj's room
It proves nothing. Even if he hadn't used the excuse that Gayatri likes order. I mean, he's a perfectionist/orderly person -- so what? I'm a perfectionist too. When I write, I need the sentences to be perfectly aligned. If I had amnesia and still needed the phrases aligned, then would that mean I was faking the amnesia?
I don't think so.
Plus, Jahnvi's little illogical missions are starting to bug the crap out of me. I mean, why -- for God's sake, why does it matter so much to her whether Viraj has amnesia or not? She should just stay away from him. What will she do with the information? Will she run? Why doesn't she run now? Will she tell everyone? Why doesn't she tell everyone now?
The only answer, the only reason that I can find as to why she's stalking his shadow is, as I've mentioned before, she's addicted to his influence in her life. She can't let go. However sadistic it might seem, it wouldn't surprise me if she feels compelled to seek him out.
For a woman who escaped with the devil snapping at her heels all the way, for a woman who had to feign her own death to get away from him, who had to hide and run and fear his presence around every corner -- that woman deliberately roams his room, follows him around alone, listens to his one-sided conversations?
Strength is good progress. But it has to be logical in relation to the given character.
It's not logical in Jahnvi's case.
2) The guitar hero thing
It was unnecessary. Symbolic, but unnecessary. Raghav and Sia's connection is already deep and strong. There's no need to add a guitar to her singing.

Hi Ana...well luved ur post as usual..
Here is my take on todays epi

Pros

1-The final line...yupp it was symbolic ...d way Raghav said that he will punish him for ALL his sins one day made me think abt all the torture of Viraj. It was lyk d Ram Ravan symbolism to me.

2-Yeah as v hav named her lady Hitler so today I gt to kno abt Dev. He must b a perfect son bt apart frm dat he must b a loving bro who used to keep pampering his siblings n overshadowing dere faults n hence mayb Raghav was dependent on him n careless too.

3-Well as I said Dev was a perfect son n hence must b loved more by Gayatri.

4-Well as I hav heard dat ML doesnt change habbits so its quite confusing wat he is up to bt I m sure he is faking amnesia. I dunno I hav a doubt abt Gayatri ...i hope she doesnt insist him to b in the house against Raghav.

5-Well I dunno how can she b so comfortable around him as if nothing happened n is she a fool asking V abt watch as if he is faking he will tell her.

6-Sundar is better than Unniyal for sure atleast he is working. lolzz

7-RaAshu are adorable . I m loving dere sweet scenes.

CONS

1- No comments abt her bt agree with u...lolzz

2- *throws chappals*
didnt u heard he was poor at studies. So cant he hav a passion towards music.

ANA was waiting 4 ur post...
yes again i almost agree wid u in d full post...
efinitely d highlight of d epi was d RAGHAV handling VIRAAJ in hisown style, a mindblowing scene...very well execute one...m so glad HChad so awesum dialogues 2 eliver, cos his dialogues were very symbolic nd actually worth listening...full on RAHAV dose...

i hv sum probs here-
1) disappointed 2 see hw Viraaj is actually trying 2 woo d whole family along wid sia...nw it only seems dat in future d whole family, along wi RAGHAV's mom n every1 will immensely trust Viraaj,nd prolly RAGHAV will b harassed once again 4 his suspicion 2wards viraaj.

2)- SIA prove 2 b d most foolish character in d show once again...even krrish wud hv much more knowledge dan she had 2day...nd un4tunately she even ended up at saying dat VIRAAJ have actually lost his memory...

Apart 4m above parts, no more queries 4m me...i thoroughly enjoye RAHAV nd taashu convo, nd yes true even i felt dat RAGHAV was always treated in an unfair way or prolly unerestimated, which makes him feel dat ev nd taashu were better dan him...but both bro nd sis r 2 sweethearts n hope taashu never changes her colors...
nd yes last but not least RAGHAV nd his guitar, was a treat4 me...dat spoke so many things 2day, dat prolly RAGHAV was a dreamer, he alsoused 2 smile, even he had sum hobbies, nd even he liked music too...i luve d episode...once again a RAGHAV show 4m my side...

And one disappointment for me which came from Sundas post is that cvs have forgotten about Raghav as in who is Raghav, just Raghav, it either goes with Krish or Sia.
Guitar one looked nice since it brought forward his another shade a dreamer, a person who find solace in music but then there also Sia
Why so much of Sia everywhere around Raghav, want to see more of Raghav and something pther than Raghav thinking about Sia.

And this is the reason why I have started to loose my interest from the show, everything just revolves around Sia and Viraj, I know its Sia/ Jhanvi's show but every character should have their own individuality like how Raghav had initially, I am fed up with same fbs every now and then

Word, Sun. I have a feeling that Raghav's family will turn against him due to Viraj and his manipulative influence. But let's assume for one moment that Viraj is faking his ML. What will he get out of doing all this?
He will turn the family against Raghav [and Raghav is a threat to him because he's rich]. He will get into the family, know their weaknesses, and he needs to -- because Gayatri is an influential woman and Viraj knows it. He can't drag Jahnvi back with him now.

How could I forget? OMG. Raghav smiled fully for the first time tonight 😳

Word, yaar. I feel the same way. Yesterday, I switched sides from RaghaVi to Raghav. I've had it with Jahnvi's illogical behavior and foolish risks. I'm worried for Raghav now. I mean, he sacrifices so much for other people's protection and happiness -- I feel like people take him for granted.
At least at the ashram [and even the aam wala] respected him and didn't take him for granted. Whatever happens, Raghav doesn't deserve any more pain.

First i liked it when Sia left his watch in his room and did not take it with her otherwise I would think that she still has feeling for him. But I am very much frustrated with her character right now. She is trying to test him everyday and then she herself start thinking in two different direction today she said he cleaned up the room so he has not lost his memory but then suddenly she started thinking that may be he is doing this purposefully and he is trying to show her what she want to see. I guess it is high time that she should start taking action before it is too late.

I actually liked Guitarwala Raghav, convo between Raghav and Tashu that shows that in the past he was happy, full of life kind of dude, loving, and caring brother. While playing guitar I saw first time his genuine smile on his face. After so many days we also heard full song bole na bole

Why Komal is giving Viraj her husband shirts? I could not understand that logic at all. Viraj is smart and know how to manipulate things He already started interfering in Raghav's family matter. and I think he got to know the weakest link of Raghav's mother and now he will play with them and one day everyone will be against him.

What can i say about the last scene you have described it so well. Other serial hero always acts dumb but in this serial I am loving that hero is actually smart enough to figure out. Loved the scene where he spoke what he feels about him. You can predict the future from this scene that this is fight between good Vs Evil. No matter what happens he will pay for all his sins.

I simply loved the last dialogue that the day I find out about your bad deeds you will pay for all your bad deed.
