Ninth Os- Her True Place

Viraj pointed his signature stick under her chin. "Jhan I am here to take you back with me. Look everyone is safe as long as you do what I say,"Viraj stated firmly.

Her eyes turned downcast recalling all the abuse, the time he tried to hurt her family along with her miscarriage and how he blamed her for everything.

Meanwhile Sundar spat out the truth to Raghav.

Raghav was stunned as his back hit the back against the wall.

"Raghav Bhaiya I know I have hurt you and risked Krish's life," Sundar stammered.

Raghav shook his head.

"Sundar she will be alone with him now. You have learned your lesson but I will have to fix everything now," Raghav muttered as he rushed out of the room.

He knew Sia or Jhanvi as she really was would fight to protect Krish but how would she fight against someone who had always over powered her? Someone's whose actions haunted her. He knew why she was scared of that song and violence. Why she quivered near him and other strangers. It was because her own husband who was supposed to protect her only caused her pain and had crushed her self confidence ages ago. How could someone just get up and live their life after going through so much.

He was ignorant of the truth before. Viraj had won too many battles so far. However it was about time someone else won the war.

Jhanvi grabbed a hold of the stick before Viraj could take it out and threaten her with the blade.

"Enough Viraj!! Everyone has suffered enough and I know whether I agree or not, you'll hurt them anyway. In fact I know what you have done already. You tried to get Madam killed and you got Krish kidnapped," she snapped.

" Jhanvi I never meant for you to get hurt," Viraj said softly.

She glared at him. He had wanted to frame her for Krish's kidnapping so she would have no options left. Her reputation would be ruined. She would have to take his aid and return to Manali.

"Main aap ke paas kabhi vapas nahin aagongi. You understand me? I will live my life my way. I want a divorce!," Jhanvi yelled.

Viraj looked at her alarmed. How dare she say those things to him! He was supposed to be in charge.

He tried to grab the stick from her. She clasped a close hold on it. Suddenly the struggle was over. Both landed on the ground a few inches from each other. Viraj tried to grab the stick but someone else stepped on it and then kicked it away from him. Both looked up to see Raghav there.

Raghav bent down to her level and helped her up.

"Your place is not there but up here," he stated. Together they glared down at Viraj who started to get up. Raghav turned to Jhanvi.

He handed her the stick.

"It's your turn to take control Jhanvi," he whispered.

Jhanvi took the stick and exposed the blade and pointed it at Viraj.

"Get out of here now otherwise, I'll claim self defense," she declared.

"Who is gonna believe your story Jhanvi. You are nothing without me," he hissed.

Raghav shook his head.

"She can and will win Viraj Dobriyal. Your winning days are over," Raghav declared.

Viraj got up and tried to grab the blade. Raghav stepped in between and shoved him out the door.

Later Raghav told Jhanvi what he knew. Jhanvi filled in the blanks. It would take some time but she would make her way and find her true place in the world.
