I totally agree with you. For some reason, I don't know if y'll have observed this, but it seemed to me like the writers are not trying to cash in on their chemistry. For instance, they just left the candle light scene hanging on there or immediately after they hug, someone rang the bell. And after daadi is aware of the truth, I wonder if she would let Jhanvi bear his torture.

Sweety! Pehchan kaun? 😛

Of course pehchanliya Shreya! :D

Agreed! I don't think this show is a "love-hate relationship". It's more an "abused relationship".
Hopefully Dadi would help Jhanvi somehow!

Viraj hasn't changed for good or anything. I said this in another topic earlier but i feel like this is the silence before a storm. Viraj has not turned nice to Jahnvi for good. But by bringing out this sweeter side in Viraj the creatives are showing the complexity of his character. They're showing that no he's not just a mean guy. He has issues that are holding him back from being the sweet guy that he is deep down. I think that DSDDSB will show Jahnvi helping Viraj get better. I don't think they're going to show her leaving him for good. She will be freed from his cage by giving him the proper treatment he needs.

Yeah I saw that post of yours, and you were right! I agree with you, this is probably silence before the storm.

However, I still hope that she gets freed from Viraj for good..and if that means leaving him, then so be it.

Completely agree with sweetdamage and likarsh! It makes me nervous they even created a show like this.. It's such a controversial area they're entering into that they really need to be cautious about the messages they're sending out to women of all ages.. Especially younger impressionable women who will see this as a beautiful romance

I too am extremely against domestic violence.. There is just no excuse for it

Exactly! The people that worry me the most are the people who actually view this violence as 'alright'. It's not alright, and this tv show should send out that strong message!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! :D

I wish they could make a Public service announcement before each episode that situations where the wife will "nurse the husband into better mental health through love" should never be considered to happen in real life and if they are in a situation like this, they should report it to the right authorities immediately and to merely look upon this show for "entertainment" purposes.. and not as a guide to be followed in real life

They really should! That would make a whole lot of difference, because media is the fastest way to reach a vast majority of people in the shortest amount of time. If this show can send out the right message and the right way to deal things, it won't only help the women...it will also help the men, because they will see how sickening this kind of behaviour is!

I think Madhuri says something at the end of each episode? None of those clips are found online, but doesn't she mention how the situation could be handled more effectively by Viraj...or what's bad about their relationship?

Oh she does?? That's great! Well it sounds like she's not doing much of a PSA but at least there are some efforts being made in showing how wrong all this is
