Well I hope SP doesn't change the storyline just because the story involves the female lead cheating on her husband. It's about time we see characters who aren't preachy and completely black or white. I think it will be interesting to see how Ahana will deal with her feelings for Rehan and how she comes to term with her doing the same thing she has hated her mother for. Rehan and Ahana represent the "ishq gunaah" element of the show.

realistic or not, cheating is not good.can never support this.why should anant support them when they both will cheat on him.it's not like they will do it for his own good.old ya young usko shaadi se pehle dekhna chahiye.nobody forced her.and why only behlul?bihter was also unfaithful.with his husband...peace

But she wasn't really marrying him for the "right" reasons. She got close to him to spare him from her mother's evil machinations. She genuinely liked him and felt secure with him because she needed a father figure but it wasn't love in the truest sense. I agree with the above poster that it sort of changes things for the average viewer, particularly the trp aunties. The aunties that would be watching would already be thinking she made a "bad" decision in her immaturity to marry someone so much older than her. So its sort of comeuppance for her to fall in love with someone her own age and then suffer with the pain of that love.

I would like the cheating part to be shown. Yes, I too find cheating to be not ok and it should not be promoted. I disapprove of it. Now, I will not bore you with the numbers, but in all honesty, it does happen! People do cheat.. And good people cheat too. They drink alcohol, use drugs and so on.. So why not allow to show and view an element of life which actually does happen? To create understanding to why people (can) cheat? To show what emotional damage can have as a consequence?
In the regular daily Indian soaps there are villains in the form of angry and evil mother/sister in laws, demons, voodoo etc. In this story each character seems to their own biggest villain. Craving for love attention and understanding. Feeling trapped by the mess they have created themselves.

And most of the so called trp aunties are maybe also trapped in such a similar web. Maybe not by being married to an older guy but perhaps they did not end up with the love of their life, the one most compatible.

In case the original track is followed: I am trusting that the despite the cheating, Ahana will make us understand why she choose what she choose and did what she did. I will sit back, relax and let the series surprise me.

As someone who respects the institution of marriage and commitment I am not in favour of cheating and of course cheating is wrong. But then it's not the only wrong thing in the world. There is no human being who is perfect and who has not committed any mistakes.Someone may not be a cheater but he might have some other flaw
When it comes to this story it's entire premise is based on how flawed an individual is.We have to understand that Aahana is not perfect.Neither is Ananth,Rehaan or anyone else. Before judging Aahana we need to understand her circumstances. She is not marrying Ananth coz she has feelings for him.She is marrying him partly to teach her mom a lesson and partly coz she wants a father figure in her life. She doesn't realise the repercussions of her actions.

I could never connect to Behlul and Bihter coz though they were bold enough to commit the mistake yet they lacked the courage to own them up.They never tried to rectify their mistake and fight for their love.Atleast Behlul didn't.He was too weak.Bihter had the guts but she was consumed in love.

It's easy to make a mistake coz everyone does. But you also need to admit your mistake and be ready to face the consequences.

When it comes to Rehaan and Ahana,I want them to fall in love.Coz at the end of the day they both are flawed characters. But unlike Behlul and Bihter I want them to be strong enough.Especially Rehaan.I want him to have a spine which Behlul didn't and guts to fight for his love.

Well everyone has interesting take on the story.

I feel story should be seen as it is without judging it as its not advertisement which promote something. People are intelligent enough to make their own choice in lyf rather than taking inspiration from fiction show.

Well second thing we indian ppl are used to that protagonist are pure, loyal and perfect ppl and there antagonist have all bad and evil things. Well in reality, ppl have good and evil coexist in them. I want to see thing from different perspective where where protagonist n antagonist coexist in same person and every person fighting its own demon.

In that aspect, its a good show where ppl lies in grey shades. Someone said they want the climax of the series change but i think it should remain the same as its very impact full.

Watching today's episode I feel they are really writing Ahana very sympathetically. Its so easy to see how she will get caught in this quagmire.
We are all taught a very black/white version of morality as children. But as we grow up I think we begin to realize that morality is incredibly grey. For example, lying is bad but lying to protect someone else could be okay. Or murder is bad yet war is socially acceptable form of killing. We convince ourselves it is in the name of justice or defense etc. Extenuating circumstances impact our judgement of what is moral.

I think this is one of those stories that shows that we cannot judge a book by its cover. I don't know if I want the climax changed because it does testify as to how sincere the conflict was for the female protagonist. This wasn't something that she could just walk away from as we would typically expect of someone with strong moral character. We could debate as to whether this was weakness of character on her part or strength of the emotion. But the mentality of the affair was very different from what her mother did. There is a difference between doing something immoral because it enhances your life vs not being able to stop loving someone even when it expense of your happiness/life.

I think today's episode with Rehaan saying that he won't ask her to give up her life for him.. was foreshadowing of sorts. But I kind of hope they show Rehaan in a better light than Behlul. Behlul truly represented weakness of character. He claimed to love enough for him to choose an immoral path but then couldn't pay the price for it.

When I watched the original that was done on purpose it was part of the story that Bihter ruined her life for someone who was not worth it. That was the best and sad part of the story how easy for the audience to sympathize with cheating and support true love if they made the secret boyfriend a knight in shining armor while the husband was some devil, but that wasn't the case. Bihter and Behlul were not symbol of some true epic love you are not supposed to like them you are supposed to pity them, and in a tragic way it also shows us that love too has its limits, and the whole love conquers all is just romanticizing peoples mistakes.

Bihter and Behlul didn't fight for their love because they deep down knew they were wrong so that is why they didn't have the courage. Bihter placed the whole burden on Behlul to accept their love to the world, but my problem is why didn't she tell the truth herself why did she need for Behlul to step up to the plate first she was just as a coward as him. I thought it was realistic way to portray affairs that is why people who cheat on their partners don't have a successful relationships after with the person they cheated with because the guilt the mistake usually haunts them and they can't find happiness with that person anymore. Even if Bihter and Behlul came out to the world they wouldn't have been happy together.

I don't know how many people watch Fatmagul but the same actress portrays Bihter, I must say it is some great acting to portray two completely different women. Fatmagul goes through the worst tragedies in her life but she doesn't let it consume her but is righteous to a fault and makes all the right decisions in the end is rewarded with a happily ever after ending, Bihter lets her misfortunes jealousies anger corrupt her and makes all the wrong decisions in the name of love and in the end she suffers. I think it is a lesson in life we have to be like Fatmagul not like Bihter.

I think the original ending made perfect sense because there is no way Bihter and Behlul would have gotten away and been happy. They might have fooled themselves for weeks or months maybe but eventually the pain they caused others would have caught up to them and drove them apart. I also disagree with people who says Behlul was a total coward, I think that is underestimating his own pain. I understood every main character as psychologically damaged in this story that is why each one of them make wrong decisions. Behlul parents died at a young age he is at the mercy of the kindness of others. When the prospect of accepting what he did became too real for him I think it hit him how he couldn't betray his father figure. I don't think it was all about money for him it was also the security that he got from his adoptive family, he loved Bihter but her love wasn't enough for him to confront loneliness and being cast out again especially spending rest of his life being hated by them. The real fault in his character is not realizing that he owed this loyalty from the start not after making mistakes then trying to double back. In the end after being found out he didn't take the easy way out like Bihter did, he choses to live with the guilt for the rest of his life I see that as tragically courageous living is much harder than dying. In the end he accepted his punishment by being away from them which is what he feared most.
